First up in today's Easter inspiration is this incredible Secret Garden 3-D illustration book by Susan Lui! This incredible creation is just perfect for home decor or a beautiful handmade gift! Secret Garden springs to life in this bright and cheerful work of art! Here is what Susan had to say about it!
"Here's a project I created using Graphic 45's Secret Garden and Olde Curiosity Shoppe collections. As the Secret Garden collection takes its inspiration from the book of the same title, I thought it would be fun to create a 3D illustration of 'From the pages of the Secret Garden." The project shows an open book with scenes from the book, and butterflies fluttering about in the garden, seemingly suspended in mid-air. One of the pages features text stamped on cardstock from Graphic 45's A Ladies' Diary Cling Stamp. I love how you can combine different collections from Graphic 45 because they complement each other so well." -Susan Lui
Supplies:
Graphic 45 Secret Garden patterned papers - Secret Garden, Pretty Primrose, April Showers, Springtime, May Flowers
Graphic 45 Secret Garden Banners
Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe Butterfly Species
Graphic 45 A Ladies' Diary Cling Stamp 1
Prima Markeeting flowers
Next up is this darling Secret Garden card by Arlene Cuevas. This creation is just perfect for Easter! If you've got some last minute cards to make for your Easter celebration then get ready for some serious inspiration! You can see how Arlene layered and distressed the beautiful Secret Garden papers and added pretty Secret Garden Chipboard Die-Cuts for even more color and dimension. Handmade flowers and other sweet embellishments only add to the cheer of this marvelous card! This card would make the perfect Easter gift for someone you love!
