In honor of today's announcement we thought it would be fun to share this beautiful tag by Tara Orr featuring A Ladies' Diary! This tag was created using recycled Graphic 45 Staples packaging and layering lots of pretty papers and chipboards from A Ladies' Diary! What an elegant little treasure!
Next up is another wonderfully pretty creation in the gorgeous Graphic 45 pastel color pallet. Behold this incredible mixed media canvas by Arlene Cuevas featuring Secret Garden and lots of beautiful embellishments! This piece is absolutely breathtaking! Follow along with Arlene's wonderful video to find out how to create one of your very own. Here is what Arlene had to say about this incredible work of art.
"Mixed
Media art is a passion I've rarely had time to dabble in lately. But I
thought I'd take a dive on an altered art canvas. The first papers I
grabbed for inspiration was the new Secret Garden 6x6 Patterns &
Solids paper pack. Of course, with all the different pieces of metal I
grabbed from my stash, I used my most precious Graphic 45 Staples door
plate, ornate label holder and ornate key hole and incorporated them
onto the plethora of metal, mulberry and lace. I chose a wedding photo
of me that was taken immediately following our wedding ceremony, at a
"secret garden" behind the church. The garden theme was exactly what I
wanted to capture with this project... thus the flowers and
butterflies! I created a start-to-finish video tutorial to show you
exactly how I created this mixed media altered art canvas. You'll see
that it's all about playing. Sketch? Never. Liberating? For sure. Hope
you enjoy! " -Arlene Cuevas
