Hello G45ers,
It's a glorious day for gift ideas! Spring is in full effect and the flowers are in bloom! It's the perfect time to get inspired for wonderful new crafts! Today we are going to share two gorgeous gift ideas that are sure to make you smile! It's always a great time to give a beautiful handmade gift! Arlene Cuevas has created a stunning birthday card that's just perfect for a special birthday boy in your life! We also have two magnificent minis by Denise Hahn that you're sure to love! Handmade Graphic 45 gifts are the perfect way to show you care! Lets begin with Arlene's marvelous French Country birthday card! Here Arlene explains her inspiration behind this wonderfully masculine work of card art!
"I love how versatile the French Country paper collection is! I needed
to create a masculine card for my Dad's birthday and my usual reach is
for Olde Curiosity Shoppe or The Proper Gentleman. But French Country
fit the bill! The blues, greens, and blacks were perfect! I love, love,
love
flowers and use them on almost all my projects. It was very hard "not"
to put flowers on my Dad's birthday card. But the Graphic 45 Metal
Staples and French Country Banners were a perfect replacement for
flowers when creating this masculine card!" - Arlene Cuevas

Next up is another brilliant G45 gift idea! Check out these two adorable Place in Time minis by Denise Hahn that were created with playing cards and pretty Graphic 45 papers! Could these projects be any cuter?! This is another perfect way to create a one-of-a-kind treasure that's filled with love and positivity! The first mini is perfect for birthdays and the second one is great for teachers at the end of the school year! That's the great thing about our Place in Time collection; you can personalize your minis with any theme you want! These playing card minis are fun and easy to make! Follow Denise's helpful tips to create one for someone special in your life! Take it away, Denise!
"So what to do when your not playing with a full deck? Make some Minis! I
used Place in Time 8x8 Papers to created these cute little mini-book
gifts using playing cards for the base. I Pre-cut my papers to size and
use a Xyron 5 inch Creative Station with permanent adhesive to attach
cardstock to one side of the card. Then I run it through the Zutter and
punch the holes first- then I embellish away. Remember the fatter your
mini is the bigger binding ring you need to use. These are also the
perfect size to tape a gift card into- what a great way to make a gift
card special!" -Denise Hahn
Supplies:
Colorbox Chalk Red Barn and Brown
Punch Fiskars
Adhesive- Xyron Permanent
Pencil- Ticonderoga
We hope you all had a lot of fun on today's Graphic 45 blog. Thank you so much for visiting us on this fine day. We also want to thank Arlene Cuevas and Denise Hahn for their beautiful work today! We wish you all a very happy day!
With Love and Pretty Paper,
Your Friends at Graphic 45
I love both of these projects. Love the card and the colors are amazing. Also the deck mini is awesome. I always have all those small bits of bind it all rings that I just can toss and those would be perfect for little card minis. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
