It's a jewelry box, board game, picture frame and more! Talk about thinking outside the box! This creation is full of imagination and joy! Anne even provides a short tutorial to show you how this precious box was assembled! Take it away, Anne!
Hi everyone! I had so fun making this jewellery and game box with the wonderful and colorful Bohemian Bazaar collection from Graphic 45. For the base I used 8 x 8 matchbox and then I made a chipboard stand and top with a mirror. Used a Sizzix die for the frame and the mirror I cut out with the same die. Mirror sheets from Tim Holtz.
There is place for jewellery and other girly stuff in the drawer.
Made this box as a present for my niece and also want to give her some flowers.
Used alphabet stickers to write my niece's name inside the drawer.
Also did some fussy cutting to make a flower vase.
This project started when I wanted to make a travel game box with different games to play. It can be used in a car for children so they have fun while driving on holiday. All the small game pieces have a magnet on the back and also the playing board so they will not get lost while playing. There is also Yatzy and playing cards in the drawer.
The top and bottom is loose so it is easy to take the box out. Top is fastened with magnets.
Fun playing on holiday!
Painted a Ornate metal door pull so it fits the rest.
Beautiful ribbon from May Arts.
Back side can be used as a frame!
Measurements for the top and bottom.
Glue on the back to the chipboard with hinges front and back
Used 2 different sizes wooden beads for the feet.
Used a match inside the wooden beeds to glue them together
Supplies:
Bohemian Bazaar collection, stickers, ornate metal door pull, 8 x 8 match box from Graphic 45, May Arts ribbon, chipboard, mirror from Tim Holtz, scor tape, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte, zig pen, tree knobs, Sizzix frame, white paint, games, magnets( you can find good quality on Etsy. Just type inn strong magnets),green flower tape, batting
