This is such a sweet idea and it's just perfect for housing school supplies and other treasures. Our new Mother Goose collection offers so many adorable designs and brilliant colors. Creating sweet crafts for back to school has never been more fun! Here Maria explains her inspiration behind this fabulous work of altered art. Get inspired to create your own back to school treasure with Mother Goose!
"With school just around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time for a back to school project! This is a little wooden box with hinged lid that I found at one of my favorite craft stores. By itself, it resembled a crayon box – then inspiration hit! I used Graphic 45’s enchanting Mother Goose line to decorate this little box. The classic colors and bold lines are perfect for school! To dress up my box, I used a handful of my favorite Spellbinders dies, plaid May Arts ribbon, and of course some Ice Stickles to add a sparkling touch here and there. Amazingly, a small box of crayons fit perfectly inside. This is a wonderful gift idea for your first time kindergartener and any sort of wooden or paper mache box will do" -Maria

Next up is another wonderfully inventive idea for back to school crafts. Behold this fantastic altered crayon box that Denise created with our new Typography collection! Inside you will find some wonderful tags that are just perfect for journaling or photos! This fantastic upcycled creation is filled with lots of saturated colors and gorgeous designs. This is the perfect creation to house precious memories from the school year. Set the tone for a happy school year with your favorite Graphic 45 papers and Staples! Here is what Denise had to say about this sweet craft.
"Create this cute keepsake to store & display School memories. Using the Graphic 45 Staples Tags and 6 x 6 Patterns and Solids papers, create a tag/page for each school year. Alphabet stickers placed back to back double as tabs and the label for each school grade. Add a classic “picture day” school pic and also note the teacher, school, etc for each grade. I also like to leave a journaling space on the back of each tag/page for the featured student to write their own thoughts about school that year. So fun to flip through as the years go by!" -Denise
