Typography is just perfect for altered art. As you can see in this magnificent altered picture frame that Arlene created, the possibilities for creative inspiration are endless! This gorgeous project is so wonderful for home or office decor. It is also the perfect idea for a heartfelt handmade gift! Having this fabulous frame on your desk on a Monday morning would be such a positive motivator. Here Arlene gives some great tips for how she created this gorgeous work of art. Get inspired to create your own Typography treasure for yourself or someone you love! Take it away, Arlene!

“I wanted to create something inspirational that I could place on my desk - something to remind me, during those stressful work days, to breath and be my best always! The motivational sentiments in the Typography paper collection were perfect for my altered frame! I found this distressed frame on clearance at my local craft store. It’s perfect because it has a worn look already -- no further distress needed! I adhered the “drawer” piece of the small Matchbook Box to the center of the frame to create a “shelf” to place more motivational sayings and knick-knacks. The thought behind the removable spools was for me to “rate” my stress level during my work day --> Green = Doing great & moving forward, Yellow = Need to stop to take some deep breaths, Red = Step away, regroup. The spool that best represents my stress-level at the moment, goes up on the “shelf” as a reminder of how I’m doing. I work a pretty stressful job, so this helps keep me in check! I also LOVE the quote “It’s a good day to have a good day!” That certainly is a driver to have a GREAT day!” -Arlene

I don't have a LSS :(
I live in the boonies

Love the projects. Thanks so much.

Fabulous projects!! WTG G45 to start off a new week full of fun and inspiration!! Happy Monday to all!!

My favorite shop is Memory Bound in Ankeny, Iowa. I was first introduced to Graphic 45 when I took a card class at the store.

Paper Place on Main in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania is my favorite scrapbook store. And I love Graphic 45!

Loving typography! Arlene's motivational board is great. Something I could use on my desk too. Thanks for the inspiration.

My favorite LSS is, without a doubt, Red Letter Journals in Grove City, Ohio. The store is located in a renovated historical building and is a great place to spend the afternoon scrapbooking. The atmosphere is so inspiring and the people are so helpful.

My favorite is Archivers - Highlands Ranch
9370 S. Colorado Blvd.
Highlands Ranch, CO 80129 - They carry Graphic 45 and always the newest papers available. Love Typography paper - it is beautiful!

I so wish I had a LSS, but where I live in Belgium I can only dream of one.
But I found a store in The Netherlands where you can order online. They are very good, quick and the shippingcost are very reasonable.
It is Scrapbookdepot in Uitgeest.

My favorite LSS is Scraporium in Tampa, FL.

Wow another innovative way to alter a frame.
So creative.

We have 4 crafts stores and they don't sell G45, i order on line mostly from scrapbook.com I wish i could just hop in the car and go to a store but that's not happening here in Wilmington, NC :(

Beautiful projects. I love the mini album.

I get my groove on at Scraputante in Medford NJ! They have the best selection of Graphic 45 ever.....

These projects are so amazing. I love them.

I live in no where land, Saskatchewan so when I get to a bigger centre I stop at Ladybug Scrapbook store in Lloydminster, Alberta for my G45 papers. I absolutely love the G45 papers. I just wish I was able to go to classes for making minis - but Youtube is a great instructor when you live in the boonies!

Scraputante on Stokes Road in
Medford Lakes, NJ is my go to place for
all my Graphic 45! And what Kelly does
with it all is beyond amazing!!

My favorite shop is Hanna's in Antioch Illinois . Thanks for a chance to win .

I have to buy mine online :(

Love, love,, love the projects for today. Don't have a LSS, have to order online from Scrapbook.com.

the mini album is great! I do shop online mostly, but to get a real life look, I go to TheScrappingBug, in Kitchener ON.

Fab projects! Love Typography - this is such a vibrant collection!

Great uses of Typography! What an awesome design collection.

My favorite LSS is Carsand Mosher in Truro, Nova Scotia.

My Favorite store for Graphic 45 supplies is Runaway Art And Craft Studio in Salem Oregon, www.runawayart.com. Super supplies, amazing staff & the best classes in the area. ~C8>

Love all the Typography projects. The best store in the Mid-Atlantic is The Queen's Ink in Savage Mill, Maryland! It's a beautiful store with great people, great classes, and they carry a tremendous amount of fantastic merchandise!

My favorite LSS (and closest for (G45), is Violette's Stamping and Scrapbooking in Lakeland, Florida. It is 65 miles away, but well worth the trip! The ladies are amazing and their selection of Graphic 45 is wonderful, and their classes are awesome as well.

Love this collection! I don't think I will ever have enough of it! I don't have a LSS and the larger crafting stores in my area do not carry Graphic 45 (their loss) so I order everything online which is ok I don't have to see and touch it in person because I already know I am getting the best products there are! Good luck to everyone :)

My favorite LSS is Got 2B Scrappin, Effingham, IL. www.facebook.com/got2bscrappin

Thank you

Fabulous projects! My favorite local Scrapbookin' store is Scrapping Great Deals in Komoka ( near London), Ontario!https://www.facebook.com/ScrappinGreatDeals

The creativity on this Blog is out of this world!

My fav shop is Making Memories with Scrapbooking in Burnaby, BC (Canada)! www.facebook.com/mmwscrapbooking

Great little mini album using your tags!

My favorite store: papers and pictures just closed this year, it took me an hour drive to get there but it was a great store that alway's had the newest products as soon as it was possible. Overhere in the netherlands it always takes a bit longer. They also had great discounts if products where not very old yet but they needed room for the new stuff.
My lss does not carry graphic 45 and has stuff from years back and nothing ever goes on discount....

I love both projects so pretty! What a great idea for a daily reminder of positiveness Arlene :)

My favorite place to be in is Collective Journey. The gals there are so friendly and the store really is just gorgeous. When the holidays roll around you can't help but be happy there :) Here's their site -
And facebook -

So wonderful! Thank you for the inspiration!

Sad to say, no fun LSS around here except the 3 big box stores, which serve their purpose, but none of them carry G45 paper, so I have to order on-line. Always on the lookout for names and locations of fun stores, in case I am ever in an area where there is one! Judy D.

Love both these projects and of course another hit with the Typography line! My go to local scrapbook store is Scrappy Do. Cathy and Misti make you feel so welcome and always have a good supply of G45. Website - http://www.scrappy-do.com. Thanks again for another chance to win!
