And now it's time for a gorgeous mixed media treasure box by Miranda! You can take any old box and upcycle it with your favorite Graphic 45 papers and Staples. It is so much fun and a perfect way to give new life to an old object! Here Miranda explains her inspiration behind this dazzling project. We also love her use of so many pretty Graphic 45 Metal Staples! This box would make a beautiful gift for someone you love! It would also look amazing in any room of the house. Take it away, Miranda!
"I absolutely LOVE mixed media! I think when a lot of people hear that term , they picture really elaborate colorful pieces. But mixed media can be anything you want it to be! I used tons and tons of mediums on this box, yet it still isn’t very “loud” or “busy”. The beauty of mixed media is just being able to play, get messy, and run with your imagination. I find it incredibly therapeutic to create in this manner! The Mother Goose line has amazing imagery, but still has more subdued patterns like the ones I used on here. So its perfect for any kind of style crafting. I hope you like my box, and are encouraged to create your own mixed media box!" -Miranda
