We begin with this marvelous tag graveyard that Maria created. This is such a clever idea for festive home decor. You can see how the fun characters in Steampunk Spells take center stage in this exquisite creation. Beautiful Graphic 45 Metal Staples, pretty Petaloo Flowers and other fun embellishments add to the authentic look of this Halloween scene. Bring some vintage-inspired beauty to your Halloween decor this season with Steampunk Spells! It's a Halloween dream come true! Here is what Maria had to say about this fabulous creation.
"Graphic 45’s tag albums are one of my favorite starting points for creativity! And with Halloween around the corner, the possibilities are endless! I got the idea to make a little graveyard home decor piece while looking through my stash of Steampunk Spells, tag albums, and some amazing chipboard by Gina’s Designs. All of these pieces just worked together to create a fun little project that you can display all month long!" -Maria

Love all your projects and the papers, but lately they are not sending me running to my craft room. Don't get me wrong, I love to look at the projects, but they are over the top design wise for me. Wish you would scale back to some cards and scrapbooking layouts again. Hope I am not the only one thinking this way.

What a wonderfully creepy yet beautiful creation the triptych is. The actual chipboard design is so very inspiring in itself, too. The album is a project I have enjoyed watching unfold on Youtube, and have taken some ideas away from for more modest crafts of my own.
Linda Ann Murphy, I so admire and enjoy the artistry showcased here every week, but as I am principally a layout/card crafter I do occasionally feel as if the main focus appears to have shifted away to projects that tend to be too ambitious or expensive for me to even contemplate doing. Of course G45 has to ensure there is something for everyone but it does mean I am increasingly searching elsewhere for daily, more practical (to me) applications of G45 papers.

Yippee! What spooky fun with Steampunk Spells!
Posted by: Sharon Young | October 02, 2013 at 01:08 PM
What a clever graveyard! Just enough decoration for a little table. Anne's album is the most extravagant use of fussy cutting I have ever seen!!! It takes a lot of time and dedication to come up with something like this book. Such a creative mind...very special, indeed! If I can use just a couple of Anne's ideas, I will be quite happy. WOW! and WOW! again!

Anne's work is just beyond amazing. So much fussy cutting and details thought out it's incredible. Maria's project is creative as well. I so love Steampunk Spells collection. I just finished my 2nd Mini. No comparison to what's been done here. But it's ok I am having fun and getting inspired by the G45 DT. :)
