This amazing creation would make the perfect piece of home or office decor for any time of the year. Handmade boxes like this one are so delightful for gift-giving. You don't have to spend a ton of time creating them! Just mix and match your favorite papers, add some sweet embellishments and Graphic 45 Staples and you're all done! Simple, easy, fun and perfect for the holidays! Here is what Clare had to say about this fabulous creation!
Ever the practical crafter, this is a really practical project and an ideal gift too with notelets inside. It started off as a blank MDF self assembly kit. I painted each of the pieces with black acrylic paint and left them to dry before assembling them together with wet glue.
Once dry I started to cover each section with co ordinating papers and black card. The chipboard and MFD embellishments were embossed with fine black embossing enamel before being positioned and stuck into place over the paper pieces. To finish I added an ornate metal label holder to the lid, for easy opening.
Supplies:
Graphic 45 papers
Staples Ornate metal label holder
Ornate metal brads
Bird Song Chipboard flower
Tacky glue
Black soot distress ink
Black Card
Imaginarium chipboard emelents and letters
