Christmas Crafts For Festive Fun
Hello G45ers,
The holidays are such a sentimental time of year. It's a time when we get together with family and friends to share in good cheer, fabulous food, gift-giving and celebration. The holidays make us reflect on the past and look forward to the future with high hopes. It's also the perfect time to create beautiful crafts to commemorate your most cherished moments. Today we're going to share some gorgeous ideas for heartwarming holiday crafts featuring our 12 Days of Christmas collection. You will see a spectacular layout by Susan Lui. Then Arlene Cuevas will share her dazzling mini album that's just perfect for holiday photos and keepsakes! We're definitely getting into the holiday spirit with today's Graphic 45 blog!
We begin with this beautiful 12 Days of Christmas layout by Susan. This is such a lovely way to immortalize your holiday memories. A pretty layout can capture all the fun and happiness of this special time of year. Our 12 Days of Christmas collection offers endless possibilities for creativity! Get inspired by Susan's fabulous layout! Create one of your own this holiday season! Here is what Susan had to say about this splendid LO!
"Here’s a layout I created of our holiday in Venice last year. I used Graphic 45’s new Twelve Days of Christmas collection and love that although it’s a Christmas collection, it can be used on non-Christmas layouts. The layout has multi-layers and textures, with muslin, frame cut-outs, fussy cut flowers, doilies and paper flowers and leaves." -Susan
Supplies:
Twelve Days of Christmas collection - Swans A Swimming, Drummers Drumming, Holly & Ivy, Christmas Rose
Twelve Days of Christmas Tags and Pockets
Twelve Days of Christmas Stickers
Staples - Ornate Metal Label Holder
Next we have a breathtaking mini album that Arlene created with 12 Days of Christmas. Every page of this mini is like stepping into a holiday wonderland! Here Arlene explains her inspiration behind this incredible work of art. We encourage you all to create your own pretty mini album this holiday season! They are also wonderful ideas for personalized gifts! Take it away, Arlene!
“One of the greatest things about the Christmas holiday is taking lots of photos during family gatherings. What is even more fun, is creating the keepsakes to store those photos after the holiday has passed. What better way to commemorate those memories, by creating a handmade album! I do this for almost every Christmas holiday. This year, my album will be all ready to go! I just need to go back and add the photos and accent here and there… and I’m done! I created this “Door” album using an AccuCut die and the amazing 12 Days of Christmas paper collection by Graphic 45. The papers are so festive and all the images just scream to be cut out! In this album, you will find tons of space for full sized photos and lots of extra “real estate” added with fun interactive pockets and pages. I am including a detailed video to walk you through the album in detail. Enjoy!” - Arlene
