Tags are perfect for any occasion. Let your favorite Graphic 45 collection inspire you to create a one-of-a-kind tag creation! Here is what Clare had to say about it.
"I love making tags. They’re such a good way to try out new techniques or to tie to a present wrapped in plain paper . I love the ladies in hats on the Accessorize paper and that was the starting point for this tag. I cut three of them out, put a few foam dots on the back of each and mounted them behind the Cocoa Channel quote which I wrapped around the tag at an angle to give some dimension. After covering the base of the tag I cut out an arch from Fashion paper and then ruffled up the lace borders from the Beautiful paper and stuck it down around the outer edge of the arch with tacky glue.. The flower at the top of the tag is from the 8 x 8 Couture paper. To finish I added a couple of cut outs from the left over Accessorize paper and added a wide black ribbon loop to the top." -Clare

Here we have an example of a gorgeous tag that's got a lot of magnificent details! This is Anne's dazzling tag frame that features A Ladies' Diary. You can be as minimal or over-the-top as you want when you're creating tags! We love that Anne went all out on this amazing creation by adding magnetic closures, Graphic 45 Metal Staples and bookmarks inside the tag! She even shared some of her techniques in a mini tutorial featured below! With Graphic 45 tags you can really let your imagination take flight! Here is what Anne had to say about this gorgeous work of art!
It was so fun using the Staples tags from Graphic 45 in different ways. Here I made a card that also can be used as a frame. I used A Ladies Diary paper collection and one large staples tag, chipboard and stickers from Graphic 45, May arts ribbon and Xyron adhesive dots.
The card / photo frame closes with magnets and inside I used a bench die from Marianne Design and Spellbinders labels twenty eight die. Used Xyron glue dots to glue Ladies Diary on the ends of the ribbon.
Lotsof fun fussy cutting and all the cut outs are covered with Claudine Hellmuth Multi matte and outlined with a Zig pen.
Inside there is place to write a personal message.
On the back side is also place for a photo inside the chipboard cut out frame. Bookmark with a key from G45 on a chain and the flower pot is antique metal door pull also from G45.
Here you can see the book mark and the tag.
Different ways to combine tags - Tutorial
Take 1 large staples tag and score at 1 1/2. Fold to the front.
Hinges are cut at 1 inch and score at 1/2.
Glue on the flap and the tag base.
It is great to make a template of the tag and use repositionable tape on the back. Then you just can place the template on your paper and cut around. For the hole I used a 1/5 inch circle punch, but if you dont have that you can use the top of a marker or so and drew around.
Supplies:
A Ladies diary paper collection, cardstock cut outs, stickers and 1 large tags from Graphic 45, May Arts ribbon,
Spellbinders die, Marianne Design die, Glue, Score pall, cardstock , Xyron glue dots, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte, Zig pen, lace and magnets
