First, we have a beautiful Couture altered dressform canvas from Miranda. The detailing of these beautiful paper outfits is catalyst for you to try your own!
"As soon as I laid eyes upon the Couture range, I had so many visions of making cute clothes out of it! Too bad I don’t have any barbie dolls left these days, they would be sporting only the best! This piece was very fun! The fussy cut dresses were so easy to use" - Miranda

Anne will now take us on a guided tour of her Couture altered purse and mini album. This is just the perfect project for our fashionistas!
"Hi everyone :-)
I made a purse with a mini album inside. Used the gorgeous Couture papers from Graphic 45 and was in fussy cut heaven while I cut out all the images! So many beautiful ladies, hats, shoes and flowers to use :-)
For the handle I used black rose lase. Glued metal wire on the back and black ribbon to cover the wire. Then it is easy to shape the handle.
Used a lot of magnets in this album to hold photo mats and tags.
Here the album is taken out of the purse."
Now, take a tour of the pages!
Now learn how to make the chipboard purse with these great instructions from Anne!
"Measurements for the purse and album:
Same shape for the album, but made it 1/2 inch smaller so the top is 5 1/4- bottom 8 3/4 5 1/2 hay.
Used a black paper. scored in half and drew around ( bottom to the score line )with the template so it is double. Then you can make pockets or have it open for an extra page.
Cut out 2 of the shape for the purse in medium weight chipboard.
Flap and top measurements.
For the bottom on the purse cut out 9 1/4 x 3.
Backside. continue with the bottom and front and glue together with hinges.
I used Tyvek envelopes and Xyron sticker and went over with a black marker.
Now it should look like this.
Supply list:
Couture paper collection, stickers, cardstock Tags & Pockets and chipboard cut outs, Ornate Metal key hole, Couture Stamp set 3 all from Graphic 45. Xyron, black marker, Wire, ribbon, chain, clock, tassel, black cardstock, magnets, Tyvek envelopes, dies, feather, lace, flat back pearls, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte and a lot of fun creating :-)
Wow, what a great day! Many thanks to Miranda and Anne for sharing their awe-inspiring work. What have you tried with Couture? Please share on our Facebook Page! See you tomorrow for a fun Valentine's Day celebration. See you then!
Have a classy and fabulous day,
Your Friends at Graphic 45
