Anne's Botanical Tea Recipe Book YouTube Tour
"I cut out 5 x 3 on the front and build a shadow box inside using the cut out and 3/4 chipboard stripes.
I used my crop a dile to make the hole for the seam binding and attach the hey hole over. Love the new shabby chic metal staples.
Here's the Recipe book inside.
I used seam binding inside to easily pull the book out.
The window and Pediments die is from Tim Holtz.
The inside of the cover of the recipe book.Fastened with magnets. I used a clip to hold some notes.
8 pages cut at 8 x 4 and scored at 4 inch. Then fastened with hair clips so they easy can be taken out. There you can keep a photo of the cake and write a recipe on the other and then laminat it so it won't be dirty when it is in use.
Here there is place for a lot of recipes :-)
There's an envelope on the right side for notes. Fastened with magnets.
Pocket behind the envelope. Border made with Martha Stewart doily punch.
Supply list:
Botanical tea, Book box, metal staples all from G45,
Gina Design lacer cut out, Copy paper, Martha Stewart doily punch,Hair clips, seam binding, Claudine Hellmuth multi matte, magnets, clip and Tim Holtz Pediments and window die.
Susan Lui created this great tutorial of An ABC Primer (a retired collection) mini mini album using just ONE 12x12 sheet of paper that we grabbed from the G45 Vault! Genius! Even though An ABC Primer is retired, our new collections Typography, Mother Goose, or Good ol' Sport would be a great substitute collection to use!
These projects are the best kickstart to the week! Don't forget to take part in our contest this week by commenting here or on our Facebook! We hope you get super crafty this week, and remember, if you're trying these National Craft Month projects, please share on our Facebook page!
