Card: Miranda shares a fun and clever card using By the Sea. Isn't this such a great idea? A fun way to encourage a friend or family member.
"So many ideas come to mind for altered projects with this amazing collection! But to start, I wanted to create a simple little 'Get Whale' card hehe! I just traced and cut out the shape of the whale ! Super easy! If you don’t trust your drawing , just google whale templates and print one out. I also wanted to create 'water' using a fun technique." -Miranda

Altered Art:Clare makes a warm and lovely project today using By the Sea. The fussy cut pieces framing the photo are the perfect touch. Love this!
"This was such a fun project to put together. I wanted to use the picture of Harry having fun in the waves as the focal point in the box but changed it from a colour to Sepia print before I started. I used a picture frame box with a removable back, painted it with inky pool chalk acrylic and set it aside to dry. While it was drying I took one each of the 12 x 12 papers in the By the Sea collection and chose and cut out the images I wanted to use to give the three dimensional look I was after.
I used My Anchor paper for the back of the box, the borders from By the Sea and strips of Pier 45 around the inner sides. To give height to some of the pieces in the box I used stacks of ¼” square chipboard tiles and a whole load of foam dots.
There’s a glass front to the box that I’ll put in before hanging it on the wall." - Clare

Mini Albums: Denise Hahn makes wonderful mini albums. This Botanical Tea album and altered Book Box is such a great tribute to her family and her time at Winter CHA 2014.
"My Mom is by far my biggest fan. Everything I make is amazing to her and she is always grabbing my projects and asking if she can have them. I figured I would make her something extra special. I mean if she is going to take it anyway, why not make it just for her right? So here I created this Mothers and Daughters Mini Book Box with pictures from our day at CHA with my daughter Marilyn." - Denise Hahn

Layout: Arlene shares this great Good ol' Sport layout and there are so many great elements on this wonderful project. Love the rosettes!
“I am so excited about Good Ol’s Sport, I can’t stop using it! It’s such a fun, masculine collection and it’s perfect to scrap pages of my boys! This picture was taken at Candlestick park in San Francisco, during one of the last games the 49ers will ever play in this field. The Niners will have a new home in 2014 at Levi Stadium! I used a combination of the 12x12 paper pad, 8x8 paper pad and 6x6 Patterns and Solids to create this page. I also used a few pieces from the coordinating chipboard set, tags and pockets, banners and sticker sheet. Creating is a breeze with the assortment of product Graphic 45 offers, I love it!” ~ Arlene
