Spring into Creativity with Cardmaking

It's a great day for cardmaking, don't you think? These are great ideas for any occasion. Annette Green shares a tutorial for a beautiful Botanical Tea card. Then, Denise Johnson wows with a Couture card with a hidden gift inside. We can't wait to share them with you!

Annette's Botanical Tea Card Tutorial

Step One: Cut & score a 5 x 7 card base from cream cardstock, then cut the papers as shown in photo.

Step Two: Create a unit from the pattern papers adding two rows of ribbon across seam.

Step Three: Adhere background paper to card base, then unit from previous step using foam tape for added dimension.

Step Four: Adhere the stamped cut-apart piece using foam tape and add metal corner embellishments. Fussy cut butterfly, bend wings, and adhere to upper right.

Step Five: Adhere several buttons in upper left corner. Cut apart postage stamp image and adhere with two layers of foam tape.

Step Six: Finish off the inside of the card by cutting another cream cardstock piece at 4 ¾ x 6 ¾ inches, then stamp images and add strips of papers to top and bottom.
