We are going to let the lovely and talented Aideen take it from here! Enjoy her tour of her incredible creations.
"Hello lovely graphic 45 friends, my name is Aideen and I am coming to you today all the way from Ireland. To say I am beyond excited and delighted to be here is an understatement. It is every crafter's dream to be involved with such an amazing company as Graphic 45 right?! So thank you to everyone at Graphic 45 for making me feel so welcome.
So… who am I? I am a busy mom of two wonderful kids Oisìn and Caoimhe working two jobs but always making time for myself to get crafty. I am a huge lover of all the Graphic 45 collections and my first ever project was a Halloween in wonderland mini album for my sister. This and all my other projects can be found over on my blog www.piecesbyaideen.com. I just love to craft-creating handmade gifts for people and seeing their reaction when I give them the gift is always such a great feeling. I have also made so many friends through crafting which is not as easy as we get older but my bestie Emily and I made friends through a love of crafting for which I will be forever grateful.
Today I have a new project to share with you all which I made from a very generous batch of goodies received from the amazing crew at Graphic 45.
As I said I love to create projects for others and this one I made for my daughter and she loves it. I created a fun and adorable altered mini porcelain tea set and matching storage boxes. The collection I used was the very pretty and girly Botanical Tea - this was my first creation with this collection and it was just perfect for it.
I would also like to say a big thank you to my mom who helped me by making up the picnic blanket to match. I had ordered the beautiful fabric which is also by Graphic 45 online from Hawthorne threads. My mom then ran up the blanket for me-I have a goal to take some sewing classes this year!!
Here is my daughter when I gave her the present-just look at that little face!! She couldn’t wait to open it and see what was inside…. She’s very much the girly girl and the colours and florals of botanical tea made her so happy.
And here she is having her teddy bears picnic, I am so happy with this project as I feel it is a great keepsake for her to have. I still have a little tea set I received from my grandmother many years ago…
I have a quick little video of the process of me making the tea set and boxes if you would like to check that out.

I would also like to share some of my other projects using Graphic 45 goodies.
Here is a Mother Goose jigsaw puzzle complete with nursery rhymes and needle felted sheep. This is such a fun and interactive piece again created with my children in mind and anther keepsake for sure.
And this is my first ever mixed media piece-it is an altered Tim Holtz configuration book box and mini using Steampunk Spells. I have to say I have a soft spot for this collection and all the fun characters in it...Graphic 45 collections have the ability to take you into the world created by the beautifully designed papers.
One of my personal favourite makes of mine and one that I just had to keep for myself is this Nutcracker Sweet configurations box. I love this piece and it has even started me on my nutcracker collection obsession!!!
Mini albums were my first love in the wonderful world of paper-crafting and are still one of my favourite projects to do for sure. This one is made using the Graphic 45 altered art box and mini and the Little Darlings paper collection. I created this for a friend of mine on the birth of her baby girl...so sweet...
A special project to me and one that is so important for me to make is a heritage album for my kids so they know all about the family from which they come from. Using the Graphic 45 for Echo park Photo Freedom Transatlantique collection I have started collecting photographs and stories and creating layouts for my album.
Thank you so much Graphic 45 for having little ole me here today and a huge thank you to all the lovely readers and followers for reading my story...
Hugs to you all-see you on the Graphic 45 Ning site!!" ~Aideen
