Open a World of Possibility with Botanical Tea!

Botanical Tea is such an inspiring collection to use this time of year! Perfect for the bright joy of spring and changing seasons. Today, we have gorgeous projects from Susan Lui, Anne Elisabeth Rostad, and Denise Johnson using this great collection. You will love these fabulous projects on the blog today!

First, Susan shows a creative and beautiful project perfect for a wedding gift. It's a glorious project using Botanical Tea!

"I enjoy altering things I find around my house and the other day, I saw this ribbon spool which I had finished using all the ribbon of. So I decided to alter it into this romantic floral spool with a message inside.

This is the floral spool, which I altered using Graphic 45’s Botanical Tea collection, along with lots of shabby-chic elements of cheesecloth, lace trims, strings of pearl, flowers, leaves, satin ribbon and resin cameo. The top reminds me of a garden." ~Susan

The top is designed so it looks good from all 360 degrees. Here’s a close-up from another angle:

The ribbon in the spool is held closed using a string of pearls. Unfurling the ribbon trim reveals a message:

The ribbon message measures about 4 feet long so I had a really difficult time photographing it. The photo below captures about 2/3 of the ribbon.

List of Supplies:

Who loves cardmaking? Anne provides the most beautiful idea with fussy cut images from Botanical Tea. This card would make anyone's day!

"Made this card for my Mothers birthday and had so much fun working with the beautiful Botanical Tea papers from Graphic 45. Fussy cut out the tea can with flowers and layered some more flowers with 3D foam. The tea bag is a Stampin up punch and here I will write my Mothers name. Made a frame from the pink border strip  and brown paper stripes behind with 3D foam.Used Tim Holtz distress tool around." ~ Anne

Another fantastic day of creativity. The card and "receipe" holder are so pretty and cool. The fussy cutting is amazing - I'm jealous of the technique.

I have to say the altered ribbon spool was mind blowing. It is so beautiful and creative. I love the idea of seeing something others might consider a throw away and making it into this fantastic creation.
