Dazzling Designs with Lori Williams
Today, we get to know the lovely Lori Williams! She is such a talented designer who shares some incredible altered art with us today. From Steampunk Spells to Secret Garden, she makes every type of project with every kind of color palette sing! We love her bio below, and you can really sense her kind and fun spirit. She also shared a common G45er conundrum in the past - at first she was not able to cut into our papers. Do you have lots of unused G45 paper? We're so glad she did cut into our paper, because her projects are just that beautiful. We hope you'll grab the scissors and create something beautiful like Lori! Like we always say, our papers never come alive until they're in the hands of our G45ers.
"My name is Lori Williams and I’m a happy fun loving southern girl from Western North Carolina, USA. I am honored to be part of such an amazing company as Graphic 45. I fell in love with G45 from the first moment I laid eyes on them, having to have each collection as it came out. I must admit for some time I was a hoarder and didn’t want to cut into my pretty paper. Once I finally took the plunge and starting cutting and creating the magic really began to happen.
My background is in Metals/Production Crafts but I’ve always worked with various forms of mediums. I love all the Staples that Graphic 45 offers as it lets me blend my love for paper and metal…satisfies my soul. My style is one that is clean yet very detailed and I love to create handmade flowers.
I have two adorable little boys, Cole and Will, that have stolen my heart, along with our Wheaten Terrier, Finley. There is never a dull moment in our household, that’s for sure. I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with family and believe it or not…. pushing myself in Crossfit. My goal in life is to be better today than I was yesterday and to make sure I pay it forward."
This incredible layout uses our Secret Garden collection. Lori composes her page with the most beautiful embellishments, and beautiful areas of simplicity and then gorgeous complexity! What a great technique to carry into your own crafting.
Isn't Lori's fussy cutting beautiful? Love her flowers and framing!
So many beautiful uses of dies, metal, embossing, pearls, and more throughout!

Lori Williams' creations are wonderful. I am still at the place where I can't cut into my G45 paper without much pain. Then it will be gone. So those who receive a card where I've used it are my most precious friends.

Hey Lori, love all your work, it is breathtaking. It is so cool to have a gal from North Carolina on the DT this year. I live in Wilmington, NC and i can't find anyone around here to craft with. But now i can craft with you. Congrats and God bless you :)

Look at that beautiful birdhouse, Wow! Always admire anyone making mini albums! Of course the SP tag is wonderful too!
I have cut into 3 of my g45 items but only one was used. I can only ever afford a few sheets, never full collections or staples. If by some chance I find them reduced, I get one. But then can't use as only have one. My father was only person who received a gift using staples but he was my biggest support so was an honour to give it to him. It's still proudly sits in his study as my mother can't bare to move his favourite piece! Now I am getting emotional so bye bye :)
