You may be wondering "What is a G45 Ambassador?" It's a designer we have specifically invited to represent Graphic 45, since they are already teaching so many wonderful classes and workshops with Graphic 45 products all over the world. You will see familiar faces in this group of designers and teachers. This program is invite-only and we asked some amazing crafters for this team. We are so excited to welcome these designers to this brand new program with Graphic 45!
Let's introduce the fabulous Laura Denison!
"From an early age, I thought outside the box. I have always followed my own path in my creative endeavors. I try to explore “what if…?” ever day.
After a career in architecture, I was involved in the quilting and fabric industry of 10 years. In 2009, I discovered paper. …and fell in love with it’s unique properties. My passion is to create 3D projects from scratch. Give me a stack of chipboard and some gorgeous paper and my mind is off and running. Most of my projects also incorporate a unique and innovative mini album in some form or fashion.
Paper has lead my to places I never could have imagined I would go. I LOVE what I do and work to have that shine through in my work. I also LOVE to share what I do and teach others to step outside their comfort zone and create what they never thought possible."
This is a favorite project from Laura using the amazing retired collection Once Upon a Springtime! Love the branches with flowers and beautiful altered birdhouse.
Now enjoy this amazing caravan using Happy Haunting. What incredible details on this wonderful project!
Laura comes up with the most innovative and amazing ideas, like this paper-piecing owl canvas. What an amazing project! It uses various Graphic 45 collections and is a show-stopper!
Thank you for joining us on this amazing day welcoming Laura Denison to our Ambassador team! Are you already a fan of Laura's creations? What project above spoke to you? Welcome Laura to our Ambassador team in the comments below. Thanks for another amazing week on the blog! We cannot wait for you to join us next week to kick off an exciting new month of blogs from our new design team and some very special guests!

I love all of Laura's designs and projects. I love the graphic 45 papers too. She is so talented and has wonderful ideas, I can't wait to check her blog each week to see what she has come up with next. The fact that she offers her video classes for free is awesome too. Love her!

I have been a loyal fan of Laura's for a couple of years now and I don't think there is enough room here to describe how wonderful she is as a person, as a teacher, and as an artist. You can always count on great attention to detail, unique projects that look so incredibly complicated but yet she makes everything so easy for the rest of us. She also has a heart of gold and is sensitive to the needs of others, not to mention integrity and the highest standards. Continued blessings to Laura and her family, and many thanks to G45 for keeping her in your team!

I have been a Laura Denison fan for years and have made some of her incredible creations --- 3D projects that I never thought I could accomplish!!! But Laura makes it so easy. Her teaching skills are perfect for me; she take the time to thoroughly explain each step and why you are doing it that way, and in her video tutorials she shows you how to accomplish each step towards a beautiful product. Congratulations Laura! I'm so glad to see you back here!!

The thing about you, Laura, is that you always try to go the one step further..and then I am inspired to go one more step. Your creations are always jaw-droppingly amazing and beautiful. There are several incredible paper artists that have inspired me to get back into papercrafting after a huge long span of time, and you are one of them. Thank-you so much.

I found paper crafting toward the end of October 2013, so it has only been 8 months, but I was lucky and found Laura's website almost right away. I am not a scrap booker, but love the 3D home dec projects. Even as a rookie, I was able to follow her in her projects. She gives us free access to her project videos so we can follow them, along with her instructions that we have purchased. Her prices are very reasonable also. She encourages us to think outside of the box and make the project our own, always reminding us that we do not need to make the project identical to hers. Laura always strives to be very clear in her instructions, but if you still do not understand something, she is very responsive to an email, responding quickly. She is an awesome woman and teacher and I can't wait to see where she leads us next!

Oh yeah, I´ve been following Lauras blog and work for several years and also bought several of her patterns over the years. She´s an incredible artist, and I absolutely LOVE everything she´s ever made. Of her showings here I really admire everything, but the caravan is simply outstanding and soooo amazing, but in some way everything she ever do is , so nothing new here thoug. She´s one of the best, it´s just that simple.

It was Laura's YouTube site that drew me into making my own mini albums...pockets, tags and bindings that really inspired so many of us. She is a terrific teacher. So glad she's still a part of the G45 team of talented artists. Loved that owl when she first posted it...amazing use of paper! And congrats to this week's winner...have fun creating!
