Here's another fun tutorial from Diane's workshop how to make a beautiful altered clock!
"This is a little mantle clock that began as a rose colored wood. It was painted with a peach spray paint. You can see in the picture that the face was carefully removed and set aside.
Then the pattern making began. The base is a tricky pattern that involves strips of paper taped and cut to get just the right fit. ( Funny because later on we found that the little cylinders could be removed! That would have saved some time!) A good lesson for you to check and make sure some of these obstacles can be removed beforehand...
Next the pattern was made for those very same cylinders and a pattern strip was also cut.
The face of the clock was updated by cutting the image of the girl and adhered to the face.
The papers were then chosen with the brown floral called 'Party Perfect' as the base with 'Make a Wish' green floral on the clock.
The brown borders on the clock are from the border page 'Special Occasion' along with the small green borders.
The two cylinders of the clock are covered with 'Time to Celebrate' pink plaid and a small green border was repeated. The fronts of the cylinders were layered with circles cut from 'Make a Wish', and along the base of the clock is the same brown and green border used on the clock.
Such a sweet little clock for celebrating this new line!"
Now, here's a very special card from the incredible and talented Nadya Lifa! She made this stunning An Eerie Tale card. Isn't this fantastic?
"I wanted to make this card a gentle and mysterious. To do this, I chose three colors that I most prefer in the perfect An Eerie Tale collection. They are orange, black and purple. What could be more appropriate for such a magical collection? Of course pockets and secrets! Card has 2 folding and some secrets. I like to work with tags, it's easy and fun, I'm sure you'll like to write warm wishes and hide them in the pockets!
The carved elements are very nice to use in the postcards, I use them very often, it looks great!
Postcard from the An Eerie Tale collection will like children and adults, is a great gift for people of any age!" ~Nadya

Gorgeous line that can be used for a multitude of occasions. I really love the clock (this is the second one I have seen on your blog), but I really wonder where do I find such a thing? Are these "repurposed" clocks from a thrift store? Fantastic idea! Thanks so much for sharing!

I really appreciate the tutorial on decorating the clock. It actually looks do-able when I can see each step. I am curious - what adhesive is used? I've used Mod Podge but your designers seem to use something else.
