The Petaloo & Graphic 45 Blog Hop: Day 5
We cannot believe the last day of the Petaloo International and Graphic 45 Blog Hop is here! What a fun week it has been. Today, we have FOUR amazing projects that will leave you with heaps of inspiration to last you through the weekend! Andrew Roberts, Katie Zoey Ho, Keri Sallee, and Nadya Lifa show off their talents with amazing projects for Halloween. We are so in love with Petaloo's products, and so glad we got to join our friends for this grand blog hop. Make sure to go tell Petaloo "THANKS!" for a great week (their blog link is at the end of this post). Let's jump in to the blog hop fun!
You still have the weekend to enter to win this great prize pack of Petaloo flowers and trim and An Eerie Tale goodies worth $55! All you have to do is comment here on the blog and on Petaloo's blog. We will announce the winner here on the blog on Monday, September 15. Enjoy!
Andrew shows off his amazing altered art and layering skills on these fun lanterns topped brilliantly with Petaloo flowers!
"Halloween is not a big time of celebration here in Australia, so it was fun to be able to create a project for this time of year. I love using Steampunk Spells and An Eerie Tale is fast becoming a favorite. I was inspired to create a project that could be used in different locations as part of holiday decor.
Tip: Dont be afraid to cut specific sections and images from the papers to help define the theme of your project." ~Andrew
Love the different colors on both of these amazing lanterns!

Katie shares the most beautiful altered birdcage using An Eerie Tale and Petaloo flowers. Wow!
"Whimsical birdcage with vines of pumpkins especially grown for all sorts of concoctions… Low and behold!!! Beware of that tiny magical bird that sits proudly insides the cage… He’s the master of wishing spells and brews spells for anyone who wish for it... Beware of what you wish for, your wish may be granted in the wrong way…
This birdcage stands at ~7” tall and took me a day to re-paint, colour and seal the cage before I could embellish. Everything has to be taken in caution as I could only work within such a small area. What’s inside the base of the cage houses the various ingredients (mainly pumpkins!!) the magical bird will need to brew wishing spells..." ~Katie

We LOVE this tutorial from Keri on how to make these amazing mini albums using just one sheet of 12x12 paper. This is a tutorial we are sure you will use, G45ers! Take it away, Keri:
"Party Time! When we were given the assignment to think Halloween party themed projects, I knew I wanted to do something simple that could be used as an activity during a party.
This project of turning a single sheet of 12x12 paper into a mini album is a simple and inexpensive activity for any kind of party.
Just a few folds and few embellishments and your party-goers have a beautiful project to take home.
Petaloo flowers and trim are easy ways to add beauty to your albums without spending a lot of time."~Keri

However, there is hardly to witch to find a beautiful box for predictions and she will make something incredible !!! She (not without magic) will make a vase for the prediction from old shoe. I'm sure this shoe will be popular and all the magicians and wizards want to create it for Halloween!!! Want a recipe for shoe with the predictions? I have it!"~ Nadya
