Beautiful Creations with Botanical Tea
Who loves Botanical Tea? If you are a lover of this beautiful collection, you will adore today's blog! Annette Green and Lori Williams share gorgeous ideas with this splendid collection. We know our Southern Hemisphere G45ers are enjoying Spring, and all of us in the Northern Hemisphere can always add some beauty to our days. Enjoy these stunning projects!
First, we have a gorgeous project from Annette inspired by Pinterest. Pinterest is not only great for browsing, but also for inspiring your next creation! Annette shares a breathtaking idea.
"Who doesn’t love perusing Pinterest? I am constantly inspired by beautiful projects there. I loved the natural feel of my inspiration piece. My finished design eventually came out very different than the initial inspiration. But that’s what inspiration is all about: A kick-off point which inspires a new idea. I loved filling the matchboxes with different flowers, beautiful papers, and lovely ribbon. The project sort of took it’s own path as I went along, and I love it when that happens." ~Annette

"This collection is so beautiful with all the birds, butterflies and flowers. I had to make a sympathy card for a friend of mine and I couldn’t think of a better collection to use. It’s so soft and uplifting in and of itself I just knew she would love it. I used one of the Susan’s Garden’s Dies from Sizzix to create the Yarrow flower on the front and it really makes the card jump to life, along with the fussy cut butterflies that are ready to flitter off the front."~Lori

Terrific projects by all of the G45 designers! I used quite a bit of the Botanical Tea collection for an heirloom baby album I made for a friend. Naturally, I forgot to take pictures to load to your ning or Facebook page. I covered the album covers and spine in vintage Toile from Paris that I purchased during a trip years ago (a light green/cream fabric)-it came out beautiful (she was in tears when I gave it to her); I decorated the inside pages with G45 chipboard, pockets and pages, flowers and vintage lace. The Botanical Tea collection worked perfectly:)

Annette,
I'm glad my work inspired you, but It would have been nice for you to mention who made it. Luckily I happened to put a watermark on it, but I hate to do that as it interferes with the enjoyment of the piece. Pinterest is a wonderful tool for inspiration and sharing images, but please attribute! Thanks,
