This is a great idea for an item we may all have around the house - old VHS covers! What a great idea from Andrew using Steampunk Spells.
"With the advent of DVDs and the digital movie age I have been replacing my video movies with more updated versions. I tried to give the videos to good will but they did not want them. I thought I have all these video boxes it seemed a waste to throw them away : the video box mini album was born and a great bonus the large tag staple made great pages. I will definitely be making more.
Tip: Trying altering the tag staples to discover new ways to make mini album pages more interactive." ~Andrew

We love this altered bottle Donna made for Halloween using Steampunk Spells. What perfect home decor!
"First time to make this project and I love how it turned out. Spray-painted the bottle with the help of my hubby (the fumes of the spray paint not suitable for pregnant women). The tricky part is adhering the stickers onto the bottle. So far the glue gun is doing it's part (checked as of this writing, and it's been days). Of course you can use your trusted adhesive for this kind of project. I just clustered different fussy cut elements from different Steampunk papers and adhered a flat stick (which I got from Starbucks! :D) to the back. Tied ribbons and used a couple of chipboard embellishments to add interest. Bottom part of the bottle is wrapped washi tape and cardstock stickers."~Donna

Congrats to winner Barbara.
Oh gosh, I have also kept vhs boxes to alter but mine are the slip cover type. Andrew's is brilliant & looks like the mini album was meant to be inside! The altered bottle looks fab, such fun. I did use 2 of the 6x6 solids & patterns pad the other day for a card. Still hoarding the 12x12s as only own 3 sheets. Couldn't do it, couldn't cut into ~ not just for a card? Goodness No?! Lol. ..
Amazing week here!
