Shabby Chic Layout Inspiration with Botanical Tea
It's a perfect Tuesday for some layouts, don't you think? Today we're sharing two beautiful ideas with Botanical Tea. These layouts by G45 Ambassador Jane Tregenza and Miranda Edney will just bring life to your whole day! Let's jump in to the scrapbooking inspiration.
Do you know that we love when you share on our Facebook page? We love seeing your projects with our designs and seeing the collections truly come alive. We are in love with this Time to Celebrate birthday card by Derinda Sant-Reyes! Isn't this absolutely gorgeous?
First, we have this gorgeous layout by the scrapbook master, Jane Tregenza. We are in love with the layering, texture, and fussy cutting on this gorgeous page.
"Here is a layout I did for my third daughter using papers from Graphic 45 “Botanical Tea”. I love all the soft and pretty colours in this collection. The images are lovely too and perfect for my little girl.I started with a piece of “Botanical Tea” from which I cut some of the images out first, leaving the border intact. Over the top I added a green cardstock piece with a square of “Sweet Chamomile” on top. I punched a border along the bottom of a piece of “Herbal Infusion’ and added it my layout. I cut some borders from “Hello Friend”. I cut a triple matt from Pink and Green Cardstock with a mat from “Floral” in the middle. Alongside my photo I painted a chipboard window and shutters from Imaginarium Designs with gesso and use the vine pattern from “Botanical Tea” to fill in the window. I tucked a tea pot under my photo matt and place my window over the top. All I needed to do to finish the page was cut some roses and leaves from “Floral” and use foam tape to build them up a bit. I cut the bird out of my “Botanical Tea” and tucked it in among my flowers. Some metal flourish corners, a cabochon and frame all help to add some of the lovely details on my layout. An Imaginarium Designs Chipboard Title sums up my layout." ~Jane

"While reading comments on the G45 Facebook page, I saw that a lot of you lovely viewers would like to see more layouts! So I am taking an oath to do more! I needed the push really, I truly adore being able to just use paper, no fancy item to alter! The Graphic 45 paper is a statement all on it’s own! I did a lot of background work here, but i kept it so light its hard to tell hehe! I just couldn’t bare to cover the paper! Hugs!" ~Miranda

Jane's page is too pretty to hide away in a book. It should be hung on the wall!!!

Just beautiful! I love seeing how many different ideas can come from one type of paper. Always inspiring!

The techniques used in Miranda Edney's layout are inspiring, but all of today's pretties are so very much appreciated. Layouts are the reason I got into scrapbooking two years ago, and they, not home decor craft projects, are the reason I buy (and hoard) G45 papers. In between I might turn scraps into cards, but otherwise special holidays are the only times I ever consider other types of crafting. So thank you for today!
