Step-by-Step Tutorial
"The card and the gift bag are made in similar ways. That is, I added layering and a doily and the same embellishments on both the card and the tag. In this tutorial I will show you on a step-by-step basis how I made the card. "
Step 1:
Trim a sheet of white cardstock at 6 x 8” and fold it in the middle in order to get a double card. Cut a sheet of paper from the 8x8 pad at 3,7x5,7” and trim a sheet of gingham paper from the Baby 2 Bride collection pack at 3,4x5,4”. Attach both papers on top of the white card base.
Step 2:
Use a pre-made doily or cut a doily with a die-cut machine from one of the patterned papers. Attach it in the centre of the card.
Step 3:
Cut out a journal card from the Baby 2 Bride collection pack. Also cut out a journal card from the ‘You’re Invited’ paper and attach it on top of the Baby 2 Bride journal card. Glue it down on top of the doily.
Step 4:
Cut out three butterflies from the ‘Time to Celebrate’ paper from the 8x8 pad. Also cut out two flowers from the ‘Let’s Get Together’ paper from the 8x8 pad. Finally, cut out two banners from the ‘Congratulations’ and ‘Special Occassion’ 12” papers. Attach them onto the card with foamtape, together with three chipboard pieces from the Time To Celebrate Chipboard package.
Step 5:
Finally, further decorate the card with pink pearls."
Supply List:
Time To Celebrate papers: Time To Celebrate, Congratulations, Special Occassion, You’re Invited
