Enjoy this gorgeous ornament from Keri that is fun for the whole family! This is such a great, clever idea that you can accomplish with scraps.
"When we were asked to make an ornament, I knew I wanted to do 2 main things: (1) I wanted it to be kid friendly {because I have 3!} and (2) I wanted to keep it inexpensive, because...let’s be honest...the holidays are expensive enough!
To keep it kid friendly, there is absolutely no adhesive/glue used. Only the bristles on the jute keep the different layers “floating” and the base is just sitting on a knot at the end of the jute.
To keep it budget friendly, I used scraps! My entire 5 inch tree is made simply from cutting graduated circles from scraps I had left of my “Twas the Night Before Christmas” paper. Being 2 sided, I only had to use 4-5 different papers to get a good mix of patterns and colors." ~Keri

Love the Christmas house, it totally rocks. "The Night Before Christmas" papers are so beautiful. However, it is very frustrating to see a super cool contest and I can't join because the POST to enter does not work. I keep bouncing back and forward from blog to FB and the post still says I haven't visited FB. I look at G45 blog and FB every day of the week. Please post something so we can all enter, I'm sure I am not the only one that can't get the contest post to work. Thanks, have a great day y'all :)

The house is wonderful, beautiful, and so creative. I have to say the ornament is my favorite. I love the rustic feel, yet it is cleverly creative and so futuristic also. A very cool thing.

Great projects! Did Solange use a pre=made house? Where did she find it? Is it chipboard or wood?? It's adorable but she didn't state where she got her base from or if she made it?
