It's Almost Christmastime: Great DIY Ideas Just in Time!
It's another super special holiday blog this Sunday before Christmas! Today, we have three gorgeous ideas, two tutorials, and tons of beauty in store for you, our G45ers. First, we have the most stunning mixed media layout by Nadya Lifa using incredible stamp techniques. Next, we have an awesome key holder by Yumi Muraeda with a wonderful tutorial. Then, we have a Elf Book Box house by the always creative and innovative Nichola Battilana. Grab some hot cocoa, and enjoy these gorgeous ideas!
We love this glowing page from the incredible Nadya. Her ideas are so effervescent. Enjoy this amazing layout and tutorial!
"It's great to work with paper, covering it with layers of paint and stamps - you feel a real artist who fears nothing and spoiling for a colorful fight! I wanted to make a very bright, golden New Year Lay Out, add beautiful stamps and paint them in a color of page. I wanted to make this work with lots of layers. I hope I may inspire you to make the bright Merry Christmas page with fine Graphic 45 materials!" ~Nadya

"Inspired by Yumi’s amazing little suitcases I decided to create my own little travel case. I converted a Staples Book Box into a little suitcase, then created a homey elf house within. I’ve used a mash-up of three different collections for this piece: 'Cats & Dogs', 'Away with me', and 'Night Before Christmas'. The interior features a fireplace, complete with screen and pipecleaner flames, Christmas cards on the mantle, tree, gifts and more. The little wire loveseat even has tiny cushions made from Graphic 45 fabric! "~Nichola
