Happy New Year from Graphic 45!
Happy New Year, G45ers! We hope this blank slate brings joy, accomplishment, growth, and lots of crafting time. Today, to celebrate 2015, we have two amazing projects from Rhea Freitag and Tati Scrap. Rhea shares a brilliant "Dream" banner using her coveted G45 scraps. Then, Tati Scrap shares a clock that takes us through the year. What a wonderful day this will be!
Also, you have one more day to enter our giveaway! So don't delay, enter today:
First, we have this gorgeous banner from Rhea using Steampunk Debutante and other retired collection scraps. Her result is so beautiful you will want to use those coveted scraps as well!
"For this project I wanted to create something to set intention for 2015. Since I love to use metal in my work, I had the idea to hinge several tags together to make a banner. One goal that I was trying to set while making this was to use up those 'coveted items.' I know that Graphic 45ers will relate to this! We all have those bits of paper and embellishments that are just 'too good to use.' Here I put that thought in action by using some scraps of retired collections.
Since I wanted to infuse a few more goals into this statement of intent, I decided to use the 'back' of the project to journal additional aspirations. I added lots of layers of ink, pens and sprays before covering my secrets with a correlating word. This was a great way to keep some of my thoughts private, but I also love how a few key words still peek through though.
I wish each of you a wonderful new year and I hope I have inspired you to create homage to your New Year dreams." ~Rhea

The clock is gorgeous! It must have taken forever to do all that fussy cutting. Loved the other projects too, esp the steampunk one. I just can't seem to figure out what to do with that paper. Too narrow minded, I think.
