Stamping Techniques with Graphic 45
Welcome to another wonderful Monday here on the blog! This blog is all about stamps. Katie Zoey Ho and Keri Sallee share some amazing techniques and tutorials to fully use your Graphic 45 stamps. This will be a fantastic day!
Also, we have a new contest this week. Enter to win this amazing Time to Flourish prize pack below! The deadline is Thursday, January 22 at 11:59 PM PST. We will announce the winner on Friday!
First, we want to say thank you to all the fun store owners and designers we got to see at CHA. We had such a great time and it was such a wonderful week. We started the week with our class taught by the amazing Charee Filimoehala.
Then, it was time for the show to open! The booth finally got all set up, and all the beautiful samples were set in place. The team was ready!
We had a wonderful time meeting everyone, and seeing familiar faces. The booth was full of people snapping photos and placing orders. It was a fun place to be!
Here was just one of the great areas in our booth. Here we displayed An ABC Primer!
We had a raffle every day for those that placed an order. On the last day, we had many items to raffle off, and one of our amazing stores, Bikuben, won the grand raffle!
It was a wonderful week and we can't wait to see you again!
Now, let's get into the stamping fun! First, Katie shows us an amazing technique.
"Getting steampunky? I love steampunk; anything that has gears I love them… So while I was clearing my room, I found this used cologne bottle which comes with an interesting bottle cap… Steampunk is the first thing that came to my mind… So I decided to altered this cologne bottle into Potion No. 45 using various UTEE stamps (tutorial on Snapguide) from the Steampunk Spells cling stamp collection… Guaranteed pure & natural… To compliment with this potion, I created a mini top hat to go with this... "~Katie
Supply List
Steampunk Spells Stamps 1 & 2
Graphic 45 Staples (ornate metal keys & stamped metal brads)
Perfume/Cologne Bottle

Wood Gears

Brilliance Galaxy Gold

Now, here's a gorgeous idea from Keri! We love this beautiful technique.
"I LOVE using products that have a resist finish. For those of you not familiar with this concept, it is where you can apply ink or other coloring to a product and there are parts of the product that will “resist” the coloring and will stay their original color. This is a great way to personalize the color scheme of your project. However, they can get kind of expensive and you are limited by someone else’s imagination to the patterns you can use. With this technique...the sky is the limit! If you can stamp it...you can design it! Enjoy!" ~Keri
