Dreaming Once Upon a Springtime
So many of us in the Northern Hemisphere are dealing with cold winters and never-ending snow days, so we're trying to bring some Spring into your week! Today, we are sharing gorgeous creations with Once Upon a Springtime! G45 Ambassador Clare Charvill and DT member Annette Green will brighten your day with beautiful projects. Hopefully you'll get some creative Vitamin D from this post!
First, we have a gorgeous Once Upon a Springtime shadowbox from the fabulous Clare. Tell us all about it, Clare:
"It’s lovely to see this gorgeous collection re -released as a Deluxe Collectors Edition. I loved it the first time around and seeing it again was just as exciting. I really enjoy turning the flat G45 papers into 3 dimensional projects and fussy cutting out the characters. I’ve used just a few of the papers to make this magical shadow box full of the whimsical woodland characters and flowers. The fairies all have a hint of shimmer on their wings and Mr Toad is sporting a glossy coat. I thought this shadow box would make a lovely addition to a fairytale bedroom." ~Clare

Adore this glorious Once Upon a Springtime Large Ivory Tag from Annette! Wow, such stunning layers!
"This re-released collection is such a delight to work with. Having missed it upon it’s initial release, I’m thrilled be able to create with it now. I was drawn to the pinks and greens and had the best time making this large tag, as you can tell by the many different papers I have in my supply list. With a craft knife and some patience, you can achieve a laser-cut look for added dimension." ~Annette

As always, Clare's creations are beautiful. I love the colors in the collection. I would to love this prize as I've been watching ebay for over a year for it. I've even called G-45 twice asking for a rerelease. It was Clare's mini Steam punk album that made me desperate for the papers!
