Our new collections are arriving in stores as we type, and we cannot wait to share more fabulous projects with these new collections. Today, we will celebrate our new Artisan Style collection. You will see a fabulous card tutorial from Annette Green, and a beautiful altered art piece by the amazing Miranda Edney. Grab a cup of tea or coffee, and join us for some Artisan Style inspiration!
First, enjoy this gorgeous Artisan Style birthday card and tutorial from the magnificent Annette!
"I love the Artisan Style collection for its bold color combinations and beautiful graphic imagery. The more black a collection includes, the more I seem drawn to it. The contrast is what makes it so dramatic! The Craftsmanship page in this collection is full of alpha letters which I find myself cutting out to make my own personalized sentiments rather than trying to find the perfect stamp set. And it all ties together perfectly this way. To help the letters stand out more, I used a Stabilo black watercolor pencil to outline, then softened the lines with a watery paint brush for a smoky shadow effect. I love to do this in my art journal too!" ~Annette

Alright, I know I'm blonde all the way to the roots, but good grief... Seeing the inside of this card just reminded me to use double sided G45 paper as a BASE for my cards and the inside will be all dressed up, too! And the penny finally drops...

Annette card is stunning and of course the G is great because I start with a G also. I wasn't sure at first whether I liked this paper, but oh I am so wrong.
