Two Fantastic Artisan Style Creations
Welcome to the blog this Wednesday! It is full of amazing Artisan Style projects by our talented designers. Lori Williams and Ginger Ropp absolutely wow with this gorgeous new collection. They also give great tips to use beautiful items you have in your craft room and taking them to the next level. There is an amazing altered art creation and a beautiful notebook. You're in for a treat!
First, let's announce the winner from our Random Acts of Kindness contest yesterday! Our randomly chosen winner is ....
-Diane Fleming: What an amazing way to celebrate "Random Acts of Kindness" day! Thanks for the opportunity to win. I would certainly brighten a few days with the things I will create if I win this prize.

Now, let's enjoy this great project from Lori, who gives some great advice about finally using a item she was hesitant to use. The result was stunning and shows you should use your stash!
"I have to admit on this project I was a hoarder for a long time and sometimes hoarding doesn’t pay. I had purchased a working alarm clock several years back from Hobby Lobby and had been waiting for the right time to use it. I thought it would be great with the new Artisans Collection...little did I know what a pain it would be to strip it down to the shell, paint and prime it and get it ready to be used and because I waited so long you can now purchase alarm clock shells ready to adorn without all the work, LOL. I do love the way it came out but it just goes to show hiding back those precious scrapbook items for a rainy day is silly and we should use them when we get them." ~Lori

"I absolutely love the designs and color palette of the new Artisan Style Paper Collection. I thought it would look great on the front of a journal. I used a simple journal purchased from the office supply store. Of course I had to add one of the amazing Antique Brass Door Knockers to the front. I did add three simple dividers to the journal as well. " ~Ginger

What a fun clock. The little door is just perfect in there. Thanks for the tip on using our finds instead of holding on to them. The journal is so colorful. Love the added tabs.

What did you affix your black scrapbook paper dividers with? Glue stick, adhesive runner, etc? The edges look so sealed and thick. Beautiful work.
