"Here’s a little honest bit about me...I don’t really like stamps. OK...I like graphic stamps, but stamps that are images are just never my thing. However this month I wanted to challenge myself to use some of my Graphic 45 stamps that aren’t usually in my creative arsenal. I chose the “By the Sea” stamps because I LOVE the mermaid stamp.
I hope you enjoy my process video!"~Keri

"One of my friends at Chicago just had a baby boy, and this collection comes in time to create something special for her. I made these little booties and create this “Welcome the Little One” sentiment inside the box, as if the booties are being hung under the tree-top. Revisiting my Patina Snapguide tutorial, I’m using blue with a touch of pink for this shadow box to match the paper collection." ~Katie

my crafting tip is always buy the collection instead of the loose paper for easy coordination.
Posted by: Paperpapier | March 04, 2015 at 07:38 AM
To avoid buying duplicates, have a small looseleaf binder to record your purchases. For every G45 line, I have a page to remind me which pads, stamps, banners, etc. I already have on hand. Comes in handy when I am starting a project to see what I still need.

My favorite crafting tip is to keep learning. I just found Graphic 45 and all the wonderful things you can make. I have been scrapbooking for over 10 years and there is always something new to learn. How fun and with such gorgeous paper. Can't wait to get my paper and start my first mini album!

Mixed media is a fun way to alter a simple piece into something dramatic. My tip: start with something small and use up your scraps.

My tip is not to hoard G45 papers because they are so beautiful. Use them! Now I need to follow that tip. LOL.

I love these mixed media projects!

The reindeer and memory box are just beautiful! My tip is to put anything that won't be used again away as soon as you use it. It helps with being able to find what you do need and keeps you from having to clear away a huge pile of stuff when you're finished! :)
