Secret Garden Shaker Card Lori Williams Graphic 45

Cards are a perfect canvas to tackle if your crafting mojo is feeling low. Also, there is always someone celebrating a birthday, wedding, anniversary, job, baby, or more that would love a handmade card, so that can be a great incentive to create one! Today, we have some gorgeous ideas from Lori Williams and Ginger Ropp. Lori even has a tutorial for her Once Upon a Springtime card!

Lori created this spring-ready card and we are in love! Make it yourself with her Snapguide below!

"This was one of my all-time favorite collections from Graphic 45 and I’m so thrilled to be able to work with it again.  This magical paper was perfect to create a glitter/pearl shaker card and I’ve got a tutorial to show you how to make your own shaker card.  One of my design team members said it looked like the fairies were blowing bubbles and I loved her interpretation, so now when I look at my fairies that is all I see too.  To me it just adds to the magic." ~Lori

"Oh how I love the colors in the new Artisan Style Collection. I used the gorgeous cut aparts to create some really quick cards. I love the rich colors and bold graphics. This collection reminds me of the Art Deco era. Love it!" ~Ginger

Beautiful cards.

I love these cards.. I just received my "once upon a time' collection in the mail yesterday, so excited !!

Beautiful cards. My favorite crafting tip? Use tweezers to place small bling on cards. A lot easier than using your fingers!

Don't be afraid to fail.

Fantastic cards!

Artisan is my all time favorite!

I love Graphic 45!!

My crafting tip is to organize my embossing folders and stickers in binders using clear page protectors. You can easily flip through to find what you want!

My favorite crafting tip is maybe not for everyone but it has been so successful for me. I keep all of my collections in their own 2 gallon zip bag and then I hang the individual collections on a skirt/pants hanger in a closet. I have easy access to them and they are always so organized that it is a joy to grab a collection and get started on a new project.

Ginger's cards are all beautiful but Lori's shaker card is divine!!! LOVE how the fairy is positioned! Perfection!

Love the shaker card technique, and I love the paper line

Ginger's house card is lovely! Clean, simple lines, but says a whole lot without words!

My favorite crafting tip is to use a dental floss, the kind with the loop at one end and the two ends are together at the other end, to thread floss, ribbon, thread etc onto a needle and my crafting projects. Sometimes if I am just threading something simple like a button with ribbon...I just use the dental floss as my needle. So easy to pull things through and doesn't break easily like your standard wire needle threaders.

Great projects!!!

Shaker cards are a bit of paper fun for all to enjoy. I'll have to find out what Dew Drops are...a product new to me. Love making fussy cut focal features with G45 papers...always works! Thanks for today's posting.

Great cards & liking tips like dental floss & 12x12 storage. Desperate to get mine out of brown cardboard.

Love your vintage cards -- they seem magical to me

I have added a small bottle of hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol spray bottle into my carry tote. Hand sanitizer cleans up your acrylic stamping blocks and rubbing alcohol cleans up all that extra sticky, gummy stuff on your scissors. Even with all my titanium scissors, they still get all gummed up. In general rubbing alcohol is a good cleaner as it does wonders getting acrylic paint off clothing (and off your canvas)... I also have some in my studio at all times!

Watch what others make, try different styles, you will be amazed at what you might be able to make & don't be afraid to fail.

Beautiful cards all! Lori's card is so magical! Love the fussy cut flowers and the pearls.

Love love love the cards today! Thanks for the inspiration!

These cards are gorgeous. I just love Graphic 45 so much. I have lots of their packs of paper. We just moved and I can't wait to get all my crafting items unpacked so I can start crafting again.

Keep a few small boxes or baskets nearby to help keep you organized when you are working on a big project like a mini. I keep all the scraps in one basket, tags and chippies in little boxes. It makes it so much easier to find what I am looking for.

Fabulous projects!!!

Love the shaker card technique. Such beautiful papers

Lori - I love the card. All the fussy cutting, curving of the flowers and the pearl; so pretty and special. Love it.

Beautiful cards! I love the layering and embellishments.

Love all the collections!!!

The shaker card is the best! Raining Cats & Dogs - that is the best too! I would love to win.

Beautiful Cards, beautiful paper!

Lovely creations !!!! thank you for the chance

Love, love, love today's projects! My tip for the day: to remove a piece that has been taped down just slide dental floss underneath the piece and gently slide the floss back and forth to release the tape. The piece won't bend or tear and then it can be repositioned.

I have just ordered the Raining Cats and Dogs collection, but with such beautifull papers- only one of each sheet is not enough. Woul'd love to win this give away! My family are crazy abort cats and dogs, so they will all want me to make something for them. Need a lot of paper:)

This is s gorgeous collection! I also love the Raining Cats & Dogs collection!! My current favorite tip is using the empty tissue cube boxes to die cut embellishments for cards. They have such beautiful designs on them now!!

I just got two new collections and the possibilities are overwhelming. I'm going to start small with a wonderful birthday card doing a shaker card. Thanks for the inspiration.

Beautiful cards! I really admire your Design Team....they always do such gorgeous work.

Fun projects. Loved the shaker card

Hello!

I love both of these collections to distraction! They are so beautiful!

Hugs,

Barbara Diane

I enjoyed the simple classic graphic design underlying both these cards. Thank you.

I think all your cards are beautiful. Esp fond of projects
