Altered Art Using Times Nouveau and Typography
It's another fantastic Monday on the blog! We have amazing altered art from Solange Marques and Andrew Roberts and at the end of the blog, there's a new giveaway this week! Hooray! It's going to be a great start to the week.
First, Solange made the most stunning Times Nouveau configuration box. We are in love with this project!
"Altered art is a something that I Love to make. Times Nouveau is a charming and elegant collection with gorgeous elements for a Configuration Box. I Used Crackle Medium to get more texture on the Box and I Completed it with resin pieces." ~Solange
Solange uses our Deluxe Collector's Edition Times Nouveau for this great project!
Supply List
Graphic 45 Times Nouveau Deluxe Collector’s Edition
Petaloo Flowers
Resins
Acrylic Gesso
Crackle Medium
Next, we have the most incredible altered Typography clock from Andrew Roberts. What a handsome use of this richly colored collection!
"I think it is safe to say I am addicted to clocks and gears. I love the mechanical nature of these themes, and this project also incorporated my use of boxes and construction. Typography is a fabulous line of paper that you can use to create a more industrial themed project. I challenged my self to use a circular box for the body of the clock. I love, what I call the heritage colors of the typography collection. Typography to me has a more masculine style and I wanted to create a clock for a mans study or office.
Tip: Try uses the graphic 45 butterflies and heat embossing powder on to them to create a rustic aged metallic look. You can also do this to Graphic 45 chipboard by using clear embossing powder and distress ink." ~Andrew
Andrew created this stunning piece using the Typography paper collection pictured below!
Supply list

My favorite type of spring project is anything that involves flowers or the rebirth of something wonderful...babies, insects, or something about the beach or ocean!!

Love getting the our porch - which wraps around three sides of our house and is our warm-weather living room, ready for use. Washing the house down, scrubbing the porch floor, maybe sewing some new cushions and potting some flowers for around the perimeter. All of that says "spring" to me.
