First, we have these brilliant fabric masterpieces from the brilliant imagination of Nadya Lifa!
"You have a lot of tissue cuttings, but it is so beautiful that you find it difficult to part with it? Of course, we should not throw away a good crop of beautiful fabrics and lace! Use them in tthisproject! I see it interesting to mix up the fabric and paper, and in this project I want to show how you can combine these materials and make a stunning project! So you can decorate by this way the album`s and notebook`s covers, as well as make unusual storage for ATC cards!" ~Nadya
Nadya used the gorgeous Botanical Tea collection to make this gorgeous shabby chic ATC Book Box!

Now, Nichola creates a most stunning altered ATC Book Box using Artisan Style! Take it away, Nichola!
"Once in a while things come together so easily it sort of feels like cheating… that was the case with this little box. I began by simply painting all of the edges and corners of an ATC book box black. To the top of the box I added Artisan Style Decorative Flourish, the sides are Artisan Style > This Old House. The inside the box is covered with Craftmanship and the bottom of the box is covered with Natural Beauty for a bit of “POP”. To finish off the piece I wrapped a length of black ribbon around the sides and added a piece from Artisan Style Decorative Chipboard, a Stamped Metal Brad and a set of those fabulous Claw Feet. The top has an amazing chunky Fancy Handle that I’ve affixed in the upright position. A little bit of distressing on the edges and the whole thing is complete and looks really elegant. Now to decide if I should use this fab little box to store my ATC’s or fancy costume jewelry!" ~Nichola

"The traveling clock is an awesome project to make for someone as they travel the world. The clock is closed by a button and string closure on the side and the Graphic 45 Door knocker is the perfect handle to take it from luggage to desk. Opening the lid of the Graphic 45 Book Box and folding it under makes the perfect stand and angle to view the clock within on the desktop." ~Jim, The Gentleman Crafter

All of these projects are so creative! That shabby chic look is really catching my attention...love the use of a sewing machine to attach all the bits and pieces. What an interesting way to use up scraps! I'm going to have to try this technique. Thanks for posting these great projects!

What an interesting, divergent view of the ATC book box. The lacy, dainty creation of Nadya. The very classy art of Nichola. Finished off with the aways inventive Jim with a beautiful clock in a box. Well done all.
