Tag! You're It! Time to Make G45 Tags!
Who loves tag making? We sure do here at Graphic 45! They're perfect to put in mini albums, hang up and create a banner, send to a friend, put on display in your home - the possibilities are endless! Today, we have two gorgeous tag examples from Lori Williams and Ginger Ropp. They will inspire you to get to tag making today!
First, we have this gorgeous April Time to Flourish tag from the amazing Lori! Check out her awesome techniques:
"One of my favorite techniques I used on this tag is the paper ribbon along the bottom. I just spritzed my
paper strip with some water and let it soak for a minute then I ruffled and folded the paper to resemble ribbon. I then used a heat gun to dry and set it and finally ran it through my sewing machine to tack everything in place. I love manipulating paper into amazing forms that aren’t characteristics are them naturally and I felt the flowing paper worked so well with the organic feel of the paper and flowers.
The best part about the Time to Flourish collection is it’s give you a little of everything. With having pages for each month / season you have palettes of color that range from fall to summer, so there is a little bit of something for everyone. Of course you can create a calendar that would compare to none, but there are so many other avenues you can go down, like this tag." ~Lori
Time to Flourish is so fun because it's great for so much more than calendars. Lori used it to make this amazing April tag!

Now, we have this gorgeous tag set from Ginger using Home Sweet Home! How beautiful!
"I love the nostalgic Americana feel of the new Home Sweet Home Collection. I used one of the large kraft tags from the large tag album and created a pocket for the front of the tag. I fussy cut the Farm Fresh label from one of the papers and added couple of Graphic 45 Staples Brads. I wrapped some pretty ivory twine behind the label. I decorated one of the small kraft ATC tags to tuck inside the pocket. I also added some of the papers to decorate the back of the tag.
For the second tag I layered some of the gorgeous papers and added a really pretty Petaloo flower to the front along with some crochet trim from my stash. I fussy cut one of the stamps and journal spots to layer on the design papers. This collection has so much versatility!" ~Ginger

Terrific Tags! Cool manipulation of paper to ribbon too. Adore tags, must do some more.... btw, for me, the "bring your friends" part of giveaway hasn't worked all week but it's no biggy, the rest is fine. Just incase others are experiencing problems. Tfs & inspiring.
