Art Journals & Mixed Media with Graphic 45
Happy Wednesday, G45ers! We have gorgeous projects to share with you today. Annette Green shares an incredible art journal page. Solange Marques has a Home Sweet Home mixed media masterpiece to close out today's blog. These are amazing projects!
First, we have Annette's Botanical Tea art journal page. We loved her process video for this. It will definitely inspire you to try art journaling!
"I’ve been dabbling at art journaling for the past year; trying techniques, experimenting with color and texture, and learning from my mistakes. Like anything new, it’s taking practice and patience, but the important thing is that I am really enjoying it. Once I started to feel more comfortable, I began to envision using Graphic 45’s wonderful imagery from their papers in my pages. So I dove in and gave it a try with one of my all-time favorites, Botanical Tea. While I’m clearly no expert, I did create a YouTube video simply to share my humble process so that perhaps it might inspire you to give it a try as well." ~Annette

Love the idea of an art journal, but never had the courage to try making one. Maybe this will be the year! The recipe book and holder are just lovely, too.

Thanks Annette, for the wonderful tip on a test book journal. I just bought my first journal and really have been too afraid to do the first page. The idea of a test page first is very liberating. Wish me luck.

I would use the B sides as double LO background pages and embellish with A place in time A sides. The B sides of time to flourish are so versatile!
