Stay until the end of the blog for a great National Scrapbook Day giveaway!
First, we have this beautiful layout and tutorial from Romy using Home Sweet Home! Take a look:
"This photo of my mother and my grandma is very dear to me. They are the most important women in my life and I found that they deserved a special lay-out together. The Home Sweet Home collection was just perfect for this because of its cheery colours, nostalgic patterns and lovely flowers. Needless to say, I had tons of fun making this lay-out." ~Romy
Home Sweet Home Layout Tutorial by Romy
Step 1:
Take two sheets of paper and punch alongside the edges of one of the sheets. Adhere this sheet onto the other sheet of paper. Take another sheet of paper and cut off some strips of paper from each side. Punch alongside two edges of this sheet and attach it on top of the red gingham paper.
Step 2:
Cut a rectangle from the “Handmade” paper and ink the edges. Attach it onto the basis of the lay-out.
Step 3:
Cut out a smaller rectangle from the “Apple Pie” paper, ink the edges and adhere it on top of the red rectangle. After that, cut out four strips of paper from different sheets and add them in the middle of the lay-out.
Step 4:
Add a doily in the middle of the lay-out. Also cut out two cards from the ‘My Sunshine’ paper and stick these below and on top of the doily.
Step 5:
Mat your photo on the “Granny’s Quilt” paper. Ink the edges of the mat and attach it on your lay-out with foamtape. Also cut out a small strip from the “Country Life” paper and add this to your lay-out below the photo.
Step 6:
Cut out one bouquet of poppies from the “Garden Fresh” paper, a quote from the “Apple Pie” paper and a small frame from the “My sunshine” paper. Also cut out six sunflowers with different sizes from the Time to Flourish “August Flourish” sheet.
Step 7:
Create a cluster with some of the fussy cut elements in the right lower corner. Attach the elements with foamtape to make them stand out more.
Step 8:
Also create a small cluster of fussy cut elements in the left lower corner.
Step 9:
Cut out four doilies from the “Granny’s Quilt” paper and also cut out several small elements from other sheets of paper. Attach these elements on top of the cut out doilies and add them to your lay-out.
Step 10:
Finish off your lay-out with some adhesive pearls, a resin bird and some journaling.

Ginger shares an amazing photo of her husband as a child on this amazing An ABC Primer layout. So fantastic!
"I was super excited when Graphic 45 did a release of their ABC Primer Collection. This is by far one of my favorites! I love the vintage feel of the designs. I found a school picture of my husband when he was in the 4th grade and thought it was the perfect photo for a layout. I matted the photo using solid black cardstock as well as Co’ordinations Gala Gold cardstock. I added some dimensional foam tape to pop up the photo and used one of the Graphic 45 Black ATC tags for a pullout journaling spot. This collection is amazing!" ~Ginger

Love the layouts but Yumi's layout is so pretty with her c choice of colors, especially the matting of her pictures, and the fussy cutting!!! Although I hate fussy cutting, I do it, because it makes such a difference in a layout or card. The elements literally jump off the page. And I love that. Especially when it comes to flowers!

I have a silly question, when you first showed this Home Sweet Home Set, you had a large round looked like metal pin with the HSH laundry lady on it....is there anywhere to buy one of those pins?
