A Fond Farewell to Miranda Edney!
There are not enough words to celebrate the creativity of Miranda Edney! Her style is distinct and unforgettable, her lovely spirit shines through all she creates, and she's so generous with her tutorials and knowledge. Miranda can break down a project the likes of which never seen before, and make it feel like you could also create it with her captivating process videos and great tutorials. She has been an invaluable asset to the Graphic 45 Design Team, and her talent is already taking her incredible places. We will so miss Miranda being on our team! Today, we will share new and old projects. There could be hundreds of highlights, but we narrowed it down to a few of our favorites and 2 projects never before seen. **Also, stay to the end of the blog for a super exciting Graphic 45 announcement that YOU can take part in!**
First, we have these gorgeous Once Upon a Springtime altered spools by Miranda. Miranda would use a wide variety of items to upcycle. Her stash was created from antique stores, garage sales, craft stores, and more. She could create the most brilliant project out of everyday items.

Miranda has an eye for altered art. She did magnificent work with our Graphic 45 Staples! She could always "Think Outside the Box" with our product. This Book Box also uses Botanical Tea.
"I just LOVE these book boxes! They have always been a fave item to alter! And these are such a great quality! The ATC sized ones with included tag mini are perfect as well! Leave it to G45 to provide EVERYTHING one needs! I chose to keep this box simple! Well simple to me anyways lol. And of course corset lacing up the spine! I always seem to do this! One of Miranda's most beloved projects was her Graphic 45 Dreamcatchers! She even provides a video tutorial so you can make your own. These were such a hit and continue to be!

Another Miranda favorite was her altered pumpkins. She used old books, plastic pumpkins found aroudn Halloween and simply paper to create this brilliant autumn display. Find out how to make these with her video tutorial below!
Miranda made delicious and delectable projects with Graphic 45. This A Ladies' Diary Cupcake stand was a favorite and the technique and attention to detail on this is unrivaled!
We loved this The Twelve Days of Christmas project for the holidays. Make a tree you can use year after year! We included her video tutorial for this beauty below as well.
Miranda's Floral Tree Tutorial
Here's another fabulous holiday project from Miranda - The Twelve Days of Christmas snow globes! We love the rosettes she includes on these, the handmade trees, and the 3D dynamics of this gorgeous set of home decoration. Want to try them yourself? She provided a fabulous video for just that!
Miranda made this calendar in a box at the beginning of this year using Time to Flourish. We love each of her tags, and her Snapguide tutorial below!
We love this altered gumball machine by Miranda! She made this from Raining Cats & Dogs and a vintage gumball machine, and we couldn't adore this more.
A vintage favorite from Miranda is her handmade hot air balloon. This is such a fabulous project!
This is a stunning mixed media Steampunk Spells printer's tray Miranda created for Halloween. So many details on this, you can't stop looking!
Again, a majestic altered paper cake from Miranda using a vintage teapot, Graphic 45 Paper, and gorgeous handmade paper flowers. Wow!
We loved this project, because it showed Miranda's fun sense of humor and playfulness. Gotta love this altered Typography flying pig from Miranda! Just too fabulous!
Miranda, we will miss you terribly. From your immense talent, your kind spirit, and your incredible artistry - you are one in a million. Miranda's talent is already taking her so many fabulous places, so you don't want to miss out on her artistic journey. I have followed Miranda since her first YouTube video. She rocks the papercrafting world and has inspired me so much. It's been so wonderful seeing her work as a Graphic 45 Designer! Happy Future Miranda!

AMAZING!! So many amazing creations!! I think my favorite is her gumball machine, no, maybe the teapot or her beautiful book. No, the Hot Air balloon! Heck, I might as well give up trying to pick a favorite from all of these STUNNING creations!! They are all my favorites! TFS! Miranda will be missed very much!!
