There's so many great ideas on the blog today.
Lori Williams
"My name is Lori Williams and I’m a happy fun loving southern girl from Western North Carolina, USA. I am honored to be part of such an amazing company as Graphic 45. I fell in love with G45 from the first moment I laid eyes on them, having to have each collection as it came out. I must admit for some time I was a hoarder and didn’t want to cut into my pretty paper. Once I finally took the plunge and starting cutting and creating the magic really began to happen.
My background is in Metals/Production Crafts but I’ve always worked with various forms of mediums. I love all the Staples that Graphic 45 offers as it lets me blend my love for paper and metal…satisfies my soul. My style is one that is clean yet very detailed and I love to create handmade flowers.
I have two adorable little boys, Cole and Will, that have stolen my heart, along with our Wheaten Terrier, Finley. There is never a dull moment in our household, that’s for sure. I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with family and believe it or not…. pushing myself in Crossfit. My goal in life is to be better today than I was yesterday and to make sure I pay it forward." ~Lori
Keep Up with Lori!
First, we have this great Father's Day idea for the dads that are just so hard to buy for (and there seem to be a lot, don't there, G45ers!?). We love this great idea using Good ol' Sport!
"My father is one of those people that is impossible to buy a gift for. He needs nothing and wants nothing, and of course doesn’t want you to spend a dime on him. I came up with the perfect gift that he will love, doesn’t have and certainly won’t want to give back. Using the Good Ol’ Sport collection I created this brag book for Father’s Day. I had lots of pictures of my boys but didn’t want to have my book to thick, so I found using the artist tags was a great way to add a bunch of pictures without to many pages. I created all the pages from the 12 x 12 paper and many of them have folded pages with pockets to tuck in those tags. I also used the tags and pockets from the collection to add some little places that my son can write notes to his granddaddy. I know this will be cherished just as much as the pictures. I can’t wait for Rocket (yes that is what we call my Dad) to open his Graphic 45 “Rocket’s Boys” brag book." ~Lori

Next is a favorite of ours and Lori's - her Home Sweet Home homemade soap box and clean and dirty tag. What a great gift or home decor set!
"This is a project I made for a Graphic 45 and Spellbinders hop and it’s one of my favorite projects I created. I love the colors in the Home Sweet Home Collection and this project pulls in all of those patterns and colors. It’s something that I use almost everyday ….heck anything that can make a household chore like doing dishes brighter and prettier, I’m all for it. I really use the dirty/clean tag and it adds some G45 happiness to my kitchen. This is for sure one of my favorites and I hope you enjoy it too." ~Lori

We love Lori's words for this beautiful Once Upon a Springtime card - sometimes the projects you don't plan turn out to be some of your favorites!
"I’ll be honest, when I start a project I don’t always have a clear vision of what it’s going to end up looking like when it’s finished and this was one of those projects. I think the little fairies started whispering to me what they wanted and the final result was really magical. I loved the way this shaker card turned out and it made it one of my favorites. The best part about this project is there is a step by step tutorial where you can see how to create a shaker card for yourself. So grab some Once Upon a Springtime release and get ready to make to create something extra special." ~Lori

This is a great Typography layout from Lori using the pocket scrapbooking style. We love this to celebrate Lori's amazing Crossfit passion.
"I had never really tried pocket scrapbooking but thanks to Graphic 45 they pushed me outside of my comfort zone and in turn I created one of my favorite layouts. Granted, Typography is one of those collections that has such a rich color palette and wonderful patterns but it really lent itself to this type of layout. Every little box was a mini scrapbook design in and of itself but put it all together and it was just breaktaking. I included a tutorial for you to show you how to create a little mini album to incorporate into your layout." ~Lori

Mary's Good Old Sport Brag Book is delightful, and I like all the removable tags she used for the photos. I love the delicate fairies card, and the dishwasher clean/dirty sign.
