Introducing the Graphic 45 Ambassador: Laura Denison + a Bonus Tutorial
We are so excited to welcome back Laura Denison to our team of Ambassadors! Laura has been with us for years and we are simply in love with her incredible designs. Laura has an unrivaled imagination and incredible brain for papercrafting and we just adore her. Also, today we have a great card tutorial from Lori Williams! It's going to be a great day here on the blog.
Laura Denison
"From an early age, I thought outside the box. I have always followed my own path in my creative endeavors. I try to explore “what if…?” ever day.
I am honored to once again be an Ambassador for THE greatest product manufacturing company on the planet, Graphic 45. Their unique vision in the industry and the family behind it all makes them a standout. I began my journey with them in 2011 and I am humbled to be asked to continue to share my love of the company and their products.
After a career in architecture, I was involved in the quilting and fabric industry of 10 years. In 2009, I discovered paper. …and fell in love with it’s unique properties. My passion is to create 3D projects from scratch. Give me a stack of chipboard and some gorgeous paper and my mind is off and running. Most of my projects also incorporate a unique and innovative mini album in some form or fashion.
Paper is lead my to places I never could have imagined I would go. I LOVE what I do and work to have that shine through in my work. I also LOVE to share what I do and teach others to step outside their comfort zone and create what they never thought possible." ~Laura
Keep up with Laura!
Laura shared with us some of her Graphic 45 highlights! First is this Steampunk Debutante altered clock a mini album. Simply amazing!
Then, Laura shares this gorgeous altered Typography typewriter! So many amazing details on this.
This is a fabulous postal box using Kraft Reflections by the amazing Laura.
What a great vintage camera using Communique!
Talk about a beautiful cradle - this is made from Little Darlings and our Metal Staples!
We are so glad Laura is an Ambassador again! Be sure to welcome her in the comments below.
Next, Lori shares two beautiful cards using Artisan Style and Gilded Lily. There's a tutorial that goes with the Gilded Lily card. Just wonderful!
"I think fancy fold cards are such a great way to make a huge impact but they are actually very easy to create. I’ve made a simple step by step tutorial that will show you how quick this step card is to make and I’ll help you make one in no time. I’ve made two cards to show you different styles and looks that you could do with different collections. The new Gilded Lily collection is so feminine and beautiful and yet I adore the traditional style of the Artisans Style. Both are equally beautiful. I’d love to see you take your favorite Graphic 45 collection and make your own step card." ~Lori
