Raining Cats & Dogs Mixed Media Boxes and Books
Welcome to the Graphic 45 Blog this fine Wednesday! Today, we have beautiful altered boxes and minis with Raining Cats & Dogs. Danielle Copley and G45 Ambassador Jane Tregenza have some stunning ideas for your today as gifts for your pet-loving friends or to remember that special furry family member. Enjoy!
First, Danielle shares a brilliant gift for a friend. What a sweet idea!
"When I first saw the Raining Cats and Dogs Collection, I immediately thought of my good friend who loves animals so much she became a Vegan! I knew I wanted to make her a mini album to house the special photos of her with her fur babies, so I altered a Mixed Media Box to turn it into an all-in-one Boxed Mini Album.
Tip: For each album page, try focusing on two main colors with a pop of a third color to ensure a cohesive look that is not too busy and enhances the focus on the photo."~Danielle

Next, we were touched by this beautiful memorial idea by Jane. What a touching album.
"When I saw Graphic 45’s Raining Cats and Dogs Collection I knew it was time to do something special for our gorgeous dog named Smudge who passed away several years ago. The papers were just fantastic, so many happy and bright colours with lots of wonderful images to use. The book opens out to a star shape and comes with a gorgeous tea caddy style box to keep it safe when not in use. I used a new technique for this book; the floor of each page is carefully folded to enable the pop out elements on each page. Just perfect to showcase your very special friend." ~Jane
