The Clearsnap & Graphic 45 Blog Hop: Day 3
Day 3 of our Blog Hop with Clearsnap is here, and aren't we glad! Today, we have awesome ideas from Arlene Cuevas and Belly Lau. We love how well Clearsnap and Graphic 45 work together - it's been amazing to see all the beautiful projects this week. Let's get excited for Day 3!
First, we have this awesome Steampunk Debutante layout from Arlene. We love how she used Clearsnap on this layout - watch her video to find out all about this layout!
"I created this sweet layout of my niece featuring Graphic 45’s re-release of Steampunk Debutante in a new Deluxe Collector’s Edition pack. I love the butterflies and the antique//vintage feel of these papers. And there is a lot of fun fussy cutting to be had with this collection and all the gorgeous roses! I hope you are just as excited as I am with this re-release of the classic Steampunk Debutante collection. :-)
Tip: If you like “tucking” layers here and there (which I love!), cut your embellishments in ½ to fill in more space for the price of 1! I did that in this layout with the chipboard button located to the left and top right of the photo. You would never know… but I just shared my secret with you all! :-)" ~Arlene

"What a cool of using dye ink pad for stamping and blending colors on your projects. Color Box Dye Ink are specially designed for Graphic 45 papers, colors easily matched and super cool details with using Graphic 45 cling stamps.
Tips:
-
Use rough nail file to trim the excess paper, easy and fast, help to distress the paper edges for ink blending.
-
Use scrap papers to help adhere the cut-outs by the side of the shadow box, this help giving a great dimensional
- Use the leftover chipboard as stencil, trace the shape for accordion mini album."

I do enjoy it when these "older" collections come back...delightful images! I have to say that I never would have chosen Steampunk for a baby photo, but it worked beautifully! Creativity never fails to surprise! Well done!
