Riveting Albums & Decor with Rare Oddities!
Happy September, G45ers! Halloween is around the corner and we are so excited! We have amazing ideas using our collection Rare Oddities from our talented designers Tanya Dudkina and Ginny Nemchak today. You will leave the blog today itching to get to the craft table!
First, we have this oh-so-amazing Rare Oddities mini album from Tanya. We love the details and layers on each and every page. This is such an awesome creation!
"Hi! Today I’m happy to share with you my not usual and a really rare travel mini album. I love the idea of making an album about a trip to a miracle or to a fairy tale. I made a wardrobe on the cover of my album and as soon as you open the album you appear in a little fairy tale. I’m going to add my Halloween Disneyland pictures and fill the album with my memories.
Hope you enjoy the idea of making a cardstock wardrobe on the cover. It’s really easy and looks like a little shadow box. Let’s have a look!" ~Tanya

"Oh boy do I love Halloween so I was especially excited to see Rare Oddities! So many fabulous elements to trim and layer and the background patterns are so fun and festive! I’m not sure when purple and green became a traditional Halloween color scheme..but since it did I have been so in love with it...really a nice upgrade from just orange and black. I’m currently working to fill a bookcase by my living room fireplace with all sorts of handcrafted Halloween treasures...I can’t wait to have an all G45 holiday display!" ~Ginny

Both projects are striking - the black sets their hard work and intricate details to pop.
Tanya, I can't imagine the time and planning involved in your mini - amazing.
Ginny, your windows are so involved, I see something new each time I look. So pretty.

Ginny's ablilty to layer is just beyond compare! I love how she added so much to this glorious shadowbox, but you can see everything, and it doesn't feel crowded or busy. It's magnificent!
