"The most wonderful time of the year is quickly approaching and Graphic 45 is ready!  The gorgeous “A Christmas Carol” collection makes it easy to create the most beautiful holiday projects.

I used a postcard themed ephemera card as the focal point for my card.  I layered patterned papers behind the postcard to create added dimension.  I added holly leaves using images from 'Graceful Garland' patterned paper and die cuts.

I created two banners and adhered them to the left side of my photo.  I finished my design by adding flowers, which I trimmed in gold, red liquid pearls and a chipboard sentiment." ~Robin

Lori shares how to step out of your crafting comfort zone and try new amazing ways to create projects. (You can always check out our Tutorials sidebar link right here on the blog!)

"Don’t be afraid to try something new. Sometimes in crafting we look at other peoples work that is just beautiful on Pinterest, Facebook or blogs. It looks so detailed or complicated that we think…. “ I could never do that”. The truth is you can. Folded cards are one of those things that make projects look more complicated that they are, they actually are generally very simple. Step by step tutorials are easy to find, in fact many of them you can find on Graphic 45’s blog. They’ll walk you through how to create projects or try out new techniques. I hope you’ll step out of your crafting comfort zone and try and new fancy fold card today." ~Lori

I wish you would giveaway the products you use on your blog each day so we could make what you are making. I've always been confused as to why you don't do it that way.

Creating cards for any and all occasions brings me great personal joy! I think about the person to whom the card will be delivered...a "paper visit" with a friend or relative. Love it!
