Create with Children's Hour
Welcome back, G45ers! We hope you had an amazing weekend. Today, we are celebrating our new calendar collection Children's Hour. Ginny Nemchak and Robin Shakoor show you amazing ways to Think Outside the Calendar with these great projects!
First, Ginny shares the most gorgeous banner! We love her banners - each piece is so beautifully detailed and created. We love it!
"I was inspired to create a banner by the gorgeous vintage images and patterned papers from Children’s Hour. The May selections were just so springy and paired with the chocolate colored patterns from the 6x6 paper pad the bright colors just pop right out! I did some experimenting with the spays and gauze to create a background for the die cut frames. I wanted it to look like burlap and I think it turned out pretty great...even if I did spray my hand and the table! I added a little eyelash yarn to soften the edges and it also gives a great amount of texture. The keys were finished with a light coat of Gesso to help them stand out and tied on with ribbon and buttons." ~Ginny
