Fabulous Ideas with Voyage Beneath the Sea
Talk about kicking off the week with great ideas! We are sharing two incredible projects using Voyage Beneath the Sea! Jim, the Gentleman Crafter and Brit Sviggum will wow you today. Also, Monday is always a Fun Day because we announce our new blog contest - so make sure to stay until the end of this post!
First, Jim, the Gentleman Crafter rocks it again with a handmade Watership! He built this all himself just using chipboard and Voyage Beneath the Sea! We are so inspired!
"This steampunk watership is ready to delve into the deepest parts of the ocean. Poseidon’s Watership stands on a base that has a tiny drawer to hold magical sea creatures. The Watership itself can be removed from the base if you like and also holds a “finned” mini at the top to collect ocean time memories." ~Jim, the Gentleman Crafter

We all love ATCs! They're such a fun way to create. Well, Brit puts some magical whimsy into these Chunky ATCs. We love how she uses her pets to create dreamy underwater ATCs! How fun and imaginative is this?
"This is a new series of ATCs for the swap group that I`m in. This time we had to make chunky ATCs. Something I never have done before. I glued 2 thin edge canvases together, and painted the edges with black gesso. Then I used white heavy gesso and kind of “splashed” it on with a foam brush. So that it got a thick and uneven surface. When the gesso was dry, I sprayed the background with turquise mist. I dried it by using a heat gun. Then I stamped some parts of the ATC with small background stamps. I used the black ColorBox Graphic45 ink pad.
In the end I cut out different motifs from the great Voyage Beneath the Sealine from Graphic45. I put animal heads on them, cut out from magazines. I added some small hearts made of shrink plastic. In the end I added some titles cut out from the same Graphic45 collection.
Hope you like it :)" ~Brit
