Layouts Just in Time for National Scrapbook Day!

Tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day on May 7, 2016! We are so excited and want to get you into the spirit of things with two beautiful layouts today from Robin Shakoor and Maggi Harding. These are so beautiful and will get you ready for your great crops and excitement this weekend!

First, Robin shares the most gorgeous "Adore" layout with Mon Amour! This is a stunning way to scrap those precious photos.

"I went ultra girly with this page filled with flowers, pockets and tags. I cut a circle in the center of the black script page and adhered it to a pink patterned base using pieces of cardboard. I added lace under the top layer and a circle of pearls to the top to accentuate the shape of the circle. I matted the photo on cardboard to create space below the photo for flowers and embellishments.

Tip: Create a gallery wall using layered scrapbook pages. This gets your favorite pages out of your scrapbook and into full view." ~Robin

Next, we have this beautiful World's Fair layout from the amazing Maggi. Love how she uses more than one photo on this page!

"I've done another multi-pic layout for you. It is harder to be "artistic" when you have a lot of photos on your page, but certainly not impossible and really, sometimes it's all about the memories right? With lots of layers, some fussy cut elements, and a few flowers, you can still make a great layout, tell a story and preserve your memories all at the same time!

In 2010 my husband and I were lucky enough to be campground hosts at Denali National Park in Alaska. What a great way to spend the summer and what a grand adventure it was for us! I thought the beautiful vintage colors of World's Fair went so nicely with our photos that we took at Polychrome Pass. It is so named because of the rainbow of vivid colors you can see from the Pass, not to mention the occasional bear that strolls through the parking lot. Yep, there I was following this big grizzly bear around trying to get a National Geographic kinda photo. What was I thinking?? ☺ And I didn't get any National Geographic photos either.

Tip: Embellish your photo heavy pages with fussy cut elements and use lots of layers underneath your photos to give your layout a lot of WOW factor and pop." ~Maggi
