Use Your Favorite Collection to Create Like Marina BlauKitchen!
Hello All! Welcome to the blog this Friday where we introduce the amazing Marina BlauKitchen to the Design Team this year! You will love Marina's incredible use of layers and fussy cutting to create incredible 3D art! Her work will absolutely blow you away. We are so excited to introduce you all to her fabulous work! She shares three of her favorite Graphic 45 projects today, then a great project to inspire your #UniquelyYou submission! She even has a tutorial so you can try her idea too. Now, let's let Marina introduce herself:
"Hi everyone! my name is Marina and Blaukitchen is my blog. I live in a small village in the mountains in the surroundings of Sierra Calderona Natural Park, but my work as manager in a Dermatological Center is located in the city of Valencia, a city in the east coast of Spain, world famous city for the “paella” and the festivity of “Las Fallas”.
I’ve been married to Juan for 32 years and we have two daugthers Marina (29 years old) and Paty (25 years old). The little one is going to be married next year, I can’t believe it!
We love nature and animals and have two dogs, Paul & Yaky and a cat, Cookie. I like reading, cruising, gardening, baking and of course scrapbooking!
I remember the day my father bought my first scissors. Love fussy cutting and make paper layers, love dimension and projects starting from zero. Love to create pretty things and enjoy every project.
I am very proud to be part of the Graphic 45 design team. G45 has always been my favorite brand so I cannot feel happiest than I am right now.
Thank you so much and congrats to everyone!"
We love how Marina creates a castle for her crafting tools! How fun is this??
"Does somebody tell you need a castle to save all your scrapbooking tools? Here it is, perfect to keep all in order.
I designed this tool holder with the fantasy of Enchanted Forest Collection.
It is a four sided holder with seven sections for pencils or scrapbooking tools. One of the sections is less deep than the others for the storage of little tools.
Tip: Use a pencil to reshape and curve some little pieces of cutting paper. It provides motion and life to the figures."

"Each collection gives me a magic vision and this one named Voyage Beneath the Sea took me to the sea with its vibrant colors and characters. I knew it would be perfect to make a project to save brilliant and special things.
So I made a box with two drawers and another vertical piece with a door and little sections to place earings and rings.
TIP: Before starting the project look carefully each paper to make the best use of each design. Maybe you’ll find the inspiration you need!"

"When I had this collection in my hands I can only think about travels and how to make a singular project to sabe our memories.
The cover is full of depth and I had a good time of fussy cutting. I wanted to express a way to get into the album through the perspective.
In the inside you will find a place for each picture, maps or travel memories you want to save.

This idea for our #UniquelyYou assignment for our Design Team is amazing! Learn how to make a shadowbox Layout with her great tutorial below!
"I made a Layout in a box using 12” x 12” By the Sea Collection. I choosed a photo of myself onboard while visiting Norway.
I tried to give deepth and integrate the photo into the sea scene matching the horizon lines of both, picture and paper.
It is one of my favorites collections.
